Located next door to the charming Castell General Store where you can enjoy cold beers and one of the best burgers in Texas! River swims, area hikes, fly fishing, hunting for topaz, llanite, quartz, exploring hill country towns await! If you are looking for a quiet remote place to get away, this is the place. Bring your bikes, kayaks (or rent ours!), fly rods/fishing poles, and enjoy yourself; Come for a few days or weeks to really relax in one of the most iconic towns in the Texas Hill Country. Next door, make sure you drop into the Castell General Store and get yourself a cold beer and 3/4 lb burger and be entertained by Texas hospitality (and live music on occasion) as they jokingly call it "Luckenbach by the Llano River." Wednesday thru Sunday the bar at the Castell General Store rocks and rolls and the friendly locals have many stories and jokes to tell. Don't be a stranger! With this booking, you will have access to the house on 2 acres including access to our beautiful spring-fed Llano River waterfront which we also own called "El Castell". Don't forget to rent Kayaks or Bikes for the entirety of your stay!
