Set in 33 acres of beautiful grounds and mature woodlands, with the Black Mountains as its backdrop, Gliffaes Hotel boasts its own stretch of the River Usk where guests can enjoy a spot of fly fishing on the river teeming with trout and salmon. The hotel is renowned for its fishing and has won many Fishing Hotel of the Year awards. It has a mile of left bank fishing and another three quarters of a mile of double bank fishing known as Llandetty. Equipment is available to hire from the hotel.
