The Cawdor delivers everything that is promised. Efficient check in, very comfortable room, top class food, excellent service. We received a phone call on the day of our scheduled check in, asking if we would like a table reserved for dinner. Very professional. I would definitely recommend The Cawdor.

We were a large family group of 19 celebrating a Birthday and the Cawdor kindly upgraded the Birthday girl. All staff were superb, friendly and attentive. We had an evening meal and everybody thought the food was lovely and again very good service. Thank you we will return.

The hotel was well appointed and the food excellent - some may find the size of the meals somewhat over-facing. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our bedroom was located on the front of the property and therefore very noisy due to a narrow street and heavy traffic including hgv's

Had a lovely stay at The Cawdor. Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, with a bath and a seperate shower. Good breakfast, cooked to order. Had tasty dinners as well, by the way. Dinner hall is a bit over-acoustic. Hotel to come back to.

Stayed there 3 times for a week each time staff are allways friendly and food is amazing rooms a spacious and beds are really comfortable will deffo stay again and recommend it to others thanks to all the staff at the cawdor for making my stay so welcoming

A beautifully presented hotel, very comfortable. The staff on reception and in the restaurant were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was great. We particularly recommend the shepherd’s pie, and the salmon and scrambled eggs at breakfast! We’ll definitely come again when we’re next in South Wales.

Llandeilo is a lovely part of Wales with plenty of stunning places of great historical interest to explore. So it’s really nice to do this using a quality hotel as your base. The Cawdor ticks all there boxes. Well appointed, reasonably priced rooms. A nice restaurant with bar serving quality food and drinks. Pleasant public areas. Staff very pleasant and courteous in all settings. All in all a great place to stay.

Room was lovely, staff were help as my daughter was violently sick and house keep were fantastic at cleaning it up. But unfortunately when we did manage to get to sleep in a family room. The noise from the passing traffic was unbearable. Also the residents above were very noise. For the cost we paid for the room, it was not worth it, especially as it states excellent room. I would have left at night if it wasn’t for my daughter falling asleep. Advice is don’t book a street side room. As the windows are single glasses and the heavy lorries are very loud.
