Mh husband and I recently stayed overnight here due to coming down to sort our caravan out to go dealers for repairs, as we live in Hereford we thought come and have a nice relaxed stay rather than rushing to go home. It was freezing temperatures the time we came. We were greeted with a lovely friendly lady called Sarah on reception who gave us our key and gave us info on hotel, restaurant etc, we are familiar with it anyhow as area is second home to us! We paid her for breakfasts the following day as we're meeting friends for tea so didn't have meal deal which we normally do but had a cheaper saver price before 6pm for tea! We got up to our room very clean and tidy apart from huge cobweb over bed!!!! My hubby thought it was cold in there so went to put heating on at wall that controls both aircon and heat so we are familiar with this having stayed in premier inns before. It kept going off as he did it, so several attempts later he went down to Sarah who put something on computer, came back up, same thing again, by now we'd wasted 45 mins and needed shower and change befire meeting our friends, he went back down to be told she'd have to speak to manager. He had shower and changed and as I was in shower, Sarah came up to say that hotel was full but she could move us to another room, which was accessible one only one left! We repacked and went down to move but I took one look and saud to.my hubby I couldn't stay in it, it was like an old person's hospital room !! So I saud we will keep our old room! I asked if they had a heater we could use she saud they didn't. Off we went to meet our friends, and were late! Arrived back hour or so later to a warm room! Sarah had got us an oil filled rad and put it on! Wecwere very gratefully, my hubby went to thank her to which she refunded our breakfasts for next day too which we found very good! We had a hassle on arrival so didn't end up too relaxing but this made up for it and wecwere very grateful. We slept well and had a lovely breakfast next morning, thank you Sarah and premier inn!!
