I stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.

Comfortable and Modern Stay I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The design was simple yet modern, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The room was well-maintained, featuring a spacious and comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, adding to the overall comfort. A great choice for a straightforward and enjoyable stay!

The location of the hotel is very good. It is close to the expressway. In the rest station of the expressway, the convenience store and KFC fast food restaurant are right next to the hotel. The service is very good and the parking is free.

Environment (Figure 1): On a remote street in Cardiff, surrounded by residential areas (Figure 2), people who are new to the city need to use Google Maps to find it. The environment is good during the day. There is a bar downstairs. The hostess is very polite. I arrived late. My wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary with a spa day and as it was my birthday we decided to book the room for the night. We were absolutely amazed. Not only were the staff absolutely awesome, but they give us an upgrade plus free breakfast and when we got to the room we were greeted with rose petals on the bed, Welsh cakes on a slate and cards for our anniversary and birthday. All in all they really went out of their way and it made our stay absolutely incredible. I can’t thank the staff enough. We would highly recommend staying there
