Staff very unprofessional a smile now and again would have been nice when we were there they had a problem with the electric no lift I have mobility problems they told me to come down three flight of stairs on my bum after complaining they said they would bring my breakfast to the room unfortunately it was different from the burnt offerings we have had all week see pictures

We have just stayed at Hydro with a coach tour. The hotel is clean and tidy . It’s a very old Victorian building that is not especially suitable for people with mobility issues as there is only one lift and some rooms have steps to access them. The staff were very helpful and friendly which made our stay feel warm and welcoming. The food was really good, variety of choices and served promptly . It was quite busy and therefore noisy , as the coach all arrived at the allocated time and there were 4 coach loads at mealtimes ! Location wise the hotel is on the sea front and so it was nice to sit in the conservatory to watch the sea . There was entertainment each night including bingo . They focused on 50s and 60s music and some residents sang along. Out the back of the hotel there are shops like M and S , boots and asda so ideal if you forget something. Overall we enjoyed our stay as Llandudno is a fabulous location.

The hotel is a tad dated but it is very clean and comfortable. Extremely good value for money. Very well run. Our bedroom Room7 was very clean and comfortable. It had 3 single beds (family room). No USB points but we took our own plug. Quiet at night too. Meals were superb. We booked an evening meal on our arrival and for just £20 each got a fabulous 3 course meal. Big shout out to our wonderful waitress Ewa who is such a lovely happy lady and so helpful. Very efficient at her job! Breakfast was amazing. We felt quite spoilt. Reception 100% efficient, pleasant and helpful. Parking at the rear of hotel but limited spaces so park early. Great views from the front conservatory. We will be going back soon we hope x

Just home from a 4 night coach break at the Hydro. As others have stated the hotel is old, and a bit dated, but the room was clean, comfy bed, good linen, clean toilet with great shower. Food was OK, alwa6s a choice in the evening, and you can order most anything you want for breakfast. Comfortable bar area and the prices are reasonable. As always, the staff make the difference, all hard working and pleasant and helpfull. This hotel represented great value for money, and we would not hesitate to return

This hotel is advertised as 2 star but I think thats a bit tight. The hotel is dated but full of so much character. The bar, the restaurant and the ballroom each beautiful in their own way. Evening entertainment, lovely food. Friendly staff. The rooms were cosy and clean. We had a stunning sea view also. We barely heard any noise from outside. We would definitely stay here again. In fact we're already looking to book again with our children very soon.

The hotel in itself was good, everywhere was clean and tidy, friendly staff. We had a large room, plenty of space, warm plus an electric heater, housekeeping was 1st class but my only moan on the room was we paid a good amount extra for a sea view which we could hardly see as the windows were filthy, we saw the window cleaner one afternoon so thought great we will have the sea view now, no such luck, only the ground floor windows got cleaned. Now the restaurant, it was large and held a lot of people at each sitting but tables and chairs were well set out so nobody was short of space. The meals were disappointing especially Christmas lunch and dinner, lunch a bit on the small side and dinner (usually buffet) was choice of meat platter, seafood platter or quiche with salad, should have stated side salad it was so small, also had chicken salad on our arrival day which was also very small. Other than that we did enjoy our holiday but I don't feel that I would return

Very clean and well organised hotel. Lots of space in rooms. Friendly staff. Llandudno is very clean lots and lots of litter, recycling bins lots of zebra crossing and motorists immediately stop when you approach kerb. All shops still open and doing well.

This is a very friendly, efficient, and well maintained hotel with comfortable, well appointed bedrooms. The meals are very good with a choice of up to six starters, six mains, and six desserts. All staff members go above and beyond in their efforts to assist guests, and the hotel has a really happy and relaxed feel about it. It is the first time we have stayed at this hotel and we will return. A great holiday location on the sea front close to all amenities.
