Soon has we walked into the Premier inn, Llandudno, We were welcomed by a pleasant, polite ,friendly young man, Booked in, in seconds,he told us our options for meals, The room was nice and tidy and very quiet. The staff working on the bar were polite also. The young lady on reception in the morning ( has we were leaving)was pleasant and polite too. Overall a great stay.

The staff are absolutely fantastic - genuinely couldn't of been any more helpful, accommodating or friendly, with a minor issue with the room resolved quickly. Great location and breakfast was excellent. No parking on site but plenty of parking available within a 2 minute walk.

The Premier Inn is located within a 5 minute stroll from the town railway station and very close to the Law Courts, North West Gardens and Coach park bus stops. It is convenient for Venue Cymru, the promenade and the shops. Entrance to reception is down a few steps to the basement. A wheelchair lift is available. The bar and restaurant area are located in the basement. There are toilets in the restaurant. Check in was quick and we were given one room card. Our room was on the top (3rd) floor. There are two lifts and a stair case to the upper floors. The room has a slot to put the room key for an electricity supply. One of us wanted to pop out so this would have meant the other sitting in the dark. We went back to reception and were given an extra card to put in the electricity slot, but it was not for opening the door. The key is needed to enter the accommodation area, so without a key card it is impossible to get to the room to knock on the door for admission. We prefer the option of having a key card each. Our room was very much an oblong shape with a part slopping ceiling. It had a small window overlooking the gardens, the main town shopping street and the Great Orme. however you had to be tall to see out of it to enjoy the view. The room was very clean, as were the bedding and towels. Shower gel and hand wash soap were provided in pump dispensers in the bathroom. The window is fitted with an effective blackout blind. We found the bed to be comfortable and had a good undisturbed nights sleep. Despite being a double room only one chair was provided, something that is quite common, but infuriating. It's a double room, for two people so can we have a chair each please! There was a settee that presumably converts to a single bed. Breakfast has to be pre-booked due to limited seating in the restaurant. There are cold and hot buffet options. We chose the cooked breakfast option. There was a choice of cereals, breads, crumpets, muffins, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Hot food options were sausages, bacon, black pudding, fried egg, scrambled egg, hash browns, mushrooms and baked beans. Poached eggs were cooked to order on request. Personally we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. Fruit juice, tea including Earl Grey and herbal, and coffee options from a machine were available. Check in is from 3pm and checkout is by noon. Luggage can be left at the hotel outside of these times. The hotel does not have a car park. Free roadside parking is available nearby if you are lucky enough to find a free space. Overall it was an enjoyable stay!

The hotel is in a very convenient position for Llandudno centre and all it has to offer, the staff were super approachable, friendly and helpful. The family rooms were big enough for a family of 4 (including 2 teenagers), the whole hotel was super clean. The car parking is a short walk away at the train station £4.50 for 24hrs and there is a car park immediately behind the hotel which offers 2 hours free stay to drop bags off etc... We will definitely return to the hotel for any future stays in Llandudno.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights as we had tickets for the final of the Welsh Open snooker championship. This was held at the Venue Cymru and the hotel is perfectly situated for the venue and for the train station which is where we disembarked after a lovely train journey from Manchester. The hotel is right in the middle of the town and is easy to find. The welcome was good and check in was quick and professional. The room was as comfortable as all Premier Inns are and at least this one was not too hot (we usually cannot get the temperature controller to go low enough to be comfortable in other Premier Inns). The only problem with the room was that the window did not open to the outside but was a non-opening window with a view of the internal area another room which looked like a meeting room. We therefore had to have the curtains closed all the time as people entering that room could have come right up to the window to look in. Because we could not find anywhere in town that served breakfast before 9 am (the people of Llandudno must not like getting up in a morning), we paid for the meal deal. The evening meal was okay and Karen went out of her way to make the meal enjoyable but the breakfast was awful. Eggs and sausages that looked like they had been cooked the day before and reheated in the morning. Bread that had obviously been left out all night and was hard around the edges. My wife asked for a poached egg and was told by the chef that it would take 5 minutes for the water to heat up. After nearly ten minutes she went to find out the progress and was told that the water wasn't hot enough. She pointed out that there was only one egg to cook and that there was hot water in the main dining room for people who wished to have a cup of tea but it made no difference to the chefs attitude. She opted for a hard fried egg instead. Would stay here again because of the location but would not eat here if possible.

The location of this hotel in Llandudno is excellent, right in the centre of town and a 2 minute walk to the beach. I did worry it might be noisy at night due to its position on a busy road in town but I honestly heard no noise at all. The staff make this hotel a wonderful one, from check in to check out we were looked after by an amazing team. We had a couple of issues with the room but as soon as I brought it to the attention of reception everything was rectified immediately and to our satisfaction. The breakfast was amazing, everything hot and tasty and the quality of the food was excellent (especially the sausages). Even the chef checked if we were ok when we were serving ourselves from the hot buffet. Despite obviously working hard the staff were super friendly and I really enjoyed a quick chat. All credit to the manager (Paul) who like all staff we met was so friendly and approachable, he seemed so proud of his staff and he should be. Working in hospitality is a tough job but for the staff we met in this hotel nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back, keep up the good work!
