Guests praise the friendly staff and exceptional location with great views. The breakfast is highly rated, but the quality of orange juice could be improved. The accommodation is consistently noted for its cleanliness.

Great hotel, the lady at reception was friendly and helpful. The booking website missed mentioning that we had a small dog with us, however, the nice lady at reception explained that to us. Instead of turning us down, she let us stay. Thank you

We came to stay at this hotel for 3 nights during August and was really looking forward to it but unfortunately we found it was such of a disappointment. We checked in to be given 2 rooms, one of which was Room 2. I don't think I've ever been in such a room that was so depressing. Their was only a small window at the end of the room, letting in a small amount of light, the smell of air freshener was over powering which when settled left a very damp smelling room, it felt more like a prison. We asked to change rooms as to which they said they was full. The following morning we asked to change again which they said they could swap us to room 3, this room was better but very basic. Our 2nd  room we had didn't seem too bad at first, the views was great and it seemed a spacious room. But the worst part of all was the bathroom. When opening the door it smelt so strong of stale wee and fust. Parts of the floor around toilet even looked yellow. There was mould on the ceilings, the bath looked dirty. The shower curtain hit you with a smell of fust. I've never felt physically sick when going into a bathroom before. The room was very basic and needed a lot of TLC. The windows looked liked they hadn't been cleaned before either. We found this room had no signal and couldn't get WiFi to the point where the TV didn't even work. We spent over £800 for the 2 rooms for 3 nights and feel so very disappointed. The staff on the other hand was lovely and couldn't fault them at all. Except for the restaurant next door where a few members was very rude and ignorant. If I visit llandudno again, I can 100% say I wouldn't stay here again even if it was free. I'm not a fussy person at all and I've stayed in many basic hotels but this was by far the worst.

We booked a two night stay with two children aged 5 and 6. We understand this Hotel/restaurant has recently been taken over. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and our room was full of bottled water, tea, coffee, biscuits etc which were topped up after one night and we had a welcome letter in our room which was a nice touch. Our children had taken teddies and when we came back to the room on the second day the hotel staff and placed them on the beds (which went down a treat with the kids) breakfast was delicious and Gary was fantastic both mornings he couldnt do enough for you and was really welcoming. We went to the restaurant both nights for drink/food. We found the staff to be very friendly and some talked to us and the kids in the restaurant. This feels like a proper family run pub not your usual chain hotel/restaurant. We just wish we could have stayed longer! They mention about having a refurb soon but we found the place to be perfect and it can only get better. You are about a 5 min drive to Llandudno if that! Perfect location and perfect hosts. They are also very child friendly!

I went for a family meal, and had to say staff the atmosphere was so inviting and friendly. I had the soup of the day and a roast dinner and it was delicous, and i found the portion sizes to be just right, it was quick service, the whole table was very happy with their food. Definatly going to go again

I booked this hotel as an alternative to the Llandudno Premier Inn as the Web site stated that since it was bought by JW Lees, they had spent £1.2 million on a major refurbishment so I was expecting something special. The bulk of the money has obviously been spent on the bar and restaurant which has been done really nicely, however the same cannot be said for the bedrooms, in room 10 that I stayed in little has been done since it was a Premier Inn, the room was a 3rd generation Premier Inn room at best and the bathroom was very disappointing, with significant mold and dirt under the sink and toilet. I did discuss this with the management who provided my evening meal free of charge to compensate. My advice would be to stay at the Premier Inn where you can get a Premier Plus room with a sea view for a lower rate.

The refurbished building looks great inside and out. We were greeted and shown to our table by Ben, who was very gregarious and welcoming. Our order was taken promptly by the knowledgable waitress. Portions were excellent and we even managed to squeeze in a desert! The food came out in a timely fashion and more than lived up to expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend a visit especially if you can get a table at the end looking out over Llandudno bay.

Booked a table of four to celebrate with friend’s, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated promptly! Orders were taken in good time and very professionally, Ben assisted us with incredibly polite manners and assisted with all we requested. Food was cooked to perfection by the chef, skills in the kitchen! Waiters were lovely and kept checking in on us and the bar staff was fast and also funny! Overall 10/10 for our first visit and we will definitely be back! Thank you to all the team who work fantastically together!

A lovely hotel, in a great location, friendly and welcoming staff, a great menu with some unique options, my pork belly noodles had lots of flavour. The cheese board was a very popular choice. Lots of people were ordering that. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great breakfast. The service was faultless. This place has a great staff team, the evening and morning staff were all lovely. We will definitely be back.
