Greylands Guest House

This lovely guest house is run by Lynda and Larnie, you can tell they have put their heart into it as it is a real gem. The building is traditional, but inside the attention to detail and decor is just lovely. Our room was small but it didn’t matter as it was functional and very nicely decorated. Comfy bed, good shower, and lovely views towards the mountains. Breakfast was delicious - local produce cooked really nicely and served hot and exactly as requested. Lynda and Larnie are excellent hosts - would definitely return and recommend.

Dear Lynda and Larnie, If you ever want to meet the sweetest people in the world, you have to book here. They have 4 stars but if it were up to us they got 5. Your warm welcome exceeded all our expectations! A beautiful guesthouse where everything is arranged down to the last detail and nothing is left to chance. Breakfast is arranged by filling in a list in advance which you would like to eat so that nothing is wasted. Everything is prepared fresh, with an amazingly beautiful view from the breakfast room. The location of the property to what we wanted to do was excellent. Room was brilliant excellent hosts breakfast was hot and well presented. The owners couldn’t do enough for you. They took our cases to the room And brought them to our car. Would 100 per cent recommend this establishment.

Quite possibly one of the nicest Guesthouses I have ever stayed in. the owners are qualified chefs and you can tell - breakfast s are amazing , in terms of choice , portions and quality Lynda has like a very interesting life and most happy to share a lot of her adventures I could I listen to her for ages! Exceptional location right by the train station. Most comfortable pillows ever. Really felt like one of the family would definitely return again thank you both for having us. X

First-class....in every respect! I stayed at Greylands Guest House mid-week after a long day travelling and attending several work events. This is relevant as I really needed a good rest/sleep! Even though I arrived late in the evening, the welcome I received was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and I immediately felt welcome. The room was perfect in every way - very well appointed and the bed was so comfortable - and I slept soundly and deeply. The next morning I was served a fabulous breakfast to order with the most delicious toast/bread! Yum, yum!!! Lynda and Larnie, thank you so much for taking in this solo traveller and making his stay one to remember. I will be back and will be recommending Greylands to anyone who will listen.

This is a full on Mom and Pops guest house, from the moment you arrive you feel like your home. The room was clean and well stocked with everything you could think of. The breakfast is high quality and highly recommended, they cater for allergy or vegan desires. You will not be disappointed staying here
