The White Hart Inn

Welcomed from the start very friendly only to willing to meet our needs, the food was excellent, the breakfast was first class. The rooms were neat and tidy with everything you needed slightly dated buildings. Parking was no problem with plenty of spaces.

I have celiacs and ordered the vegetable curry with butternut squash and spinach - which was gluten free. The chicken curry and Chilli were also gluten free available options when I was ordering. I also ordered water, ginger beer, lemon roulade with cream. The lemon curd in the roulade was beautifully balanced and smooth. Disabled bathroom and 1 stall in womens. Step down from bar to Restaurant if you enter that way. There is another door with a slope that goes past the bathrooms if you sre disabled and want to eat in the restaurant. I paid by card. Outdoor and indoor seating.  They also own an inn next door - I didn't stay there so I cannot review it. I felt comfortable in the pub part of the establishment that I wouldn't mind giving the inn a try in the future.

Room was clean, tidy and spacious, decent food in the bar at night and friendly atmosphere. Had a bit of an issue with the shower but worked ok once I figured it out. It's conveniently located just off the A40 so I'll happily stay here again.

Good room, reasonably priced & clean, mostly friendly staff. Phoned ahead to request corner table reservation due to extreme anxiety and notified of dietary needs. Sadly this didn’t seem to have been given any regard. Other tables reserved but not for us, barmaid passive aggressive response very upsetting for all. We left early and will not return. We acknowledge difficult climate for small businesses but are concerned by some of the managers responses to customers constructive comments online which might help improve business.

This is totally unheard for me to write a negative review .we booked a room at  the white heart  Llandeilo as My niece was getting married locally and we needed somewhere to stay. The week leading up to the wedding I rang twice even though they had promised to call me back. 1st call the lady did not deal with the booking and the following was a follow up call from the previous day. I had asked whether we could have a room just to change as the wedding was at 12.30. They assured we could and that our room would be cleaned 1st. which was great When we arrived at 11 our room wasnt ready  as checkout was 2pm. before I could ask if we could change in ANY room the lady was instantly on the defensive and bluntly informed us  how difficult the hospitality trade is at the moment  and its a family run business and they had 2 small  children and were short staffed. I was accused of being intimidating, aggresive and rude when I managed to  mentioned the phone  calls.We were told we could change in the toilets. Then they went towards the other bar and proceeded to talk about us behind our backs saying that we had  been rude. .My partner then decided we were  not staying there. We then walked out and said we were leaving at the same time. Why would you want to spend your hard earned money to put in their pockets after being insulted. We ended up changing in the Rugby club car park.We got to the wedding venue and  I cried. Their behaviour was totally unacceptable  inappropriate and offensive I run a small business  myself and I empathise that times are hard for all of us. Their domestic  circumstances should not impeed on their customers.

Arrived just after opening one menu on bar for whole room covered in food stains. Limited choice food £12 for a very basic lasagna.place very dated looks since change of ownership now concentrating on wet sales at expense of food. Dont think will be returning in a hurry
