Premier Inn Caerphilly (Corbetts Lane)

Good view good meal and good staff

We stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas whilst visiting family in the area. It was excellent value for money. Our room was spacious and clean and beds were comfy. It was also very quiet. Yes - there were a few little scuffs here and there, but for the price, it didn't matter. Clean and comfy is the main thing. The staff were great - especially the night manager, the lady at breakfast and the chef. They were all extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good - a lovely cooked breakfast (chef happy to make all variations of eggs fresh), plus cereals, pastries, fruit, etc. It does get busy, so I would advise booking a tineslot to ensure you have a table. We made a mistake on the last day, as I thought I had read on the Internet that breakfast was until 10:30. We arrived for breakfast just after 10:00, so we couldn't have cooked breakfast, but the chef was so helpful and went out of his way to give us extra continental breakfast. He was so kind and is a huge credit to the hotel. There is plenty of free parking - and there's a Toby Carvery next door (which we didn't use this time, but very convenient). I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a base in the Caerphilly area.

Great service and the friendliest staff. Room was very clean and spacious with everything you need. Was looking for a cheap place to stay while in between houses and they exceeded my expectations. It was a pleasant experience from checking g in to checking out. Toby Carvery a stone’s throw away for dinner was a bonus. Just a walk across the car park. Great value for money.

The bed was comfortable but I have to sleep with the window open. You can't do anything about the rain, but there was a constant dripping from a blocked gutter outside the room, which kept waking me up through the night. Had arrived late, after working and then driving 4hrs to attend a family funeral. Didn't have time to mention on the way out as we were late leaving. Breakfast was tasty and not greasy. Please get rid of those awful toilet sheet dispensers. It's a hotel.

We stayed here for a concert recently in Cardiff, premier inn are replacing all the beds with this new silent night version which is a lot Smaller!! We had an awful nights sleep ..The pillows were also not as comfortable. I stayed in premier inn in Birmingham in feb and that was great as it normally is . I have written to company to get a refund.. what a joke .. they are confident that there beds are comfy so no refund so no point in having a good nights sleep policy is there !!! Also you can pay £10 to check in sooner but even if you want to just 20 min before you pay the fee .. Just money grabbing company now !They were always my go to hotel but no more !

Great convenient location, comfy bed, exceptionally clean room and ensuite, private and quiet. I have stayed at this specific Premier Inn 3-4 times a year for The last 2-3 years.
