I was a little worried about the noise as it was located behind a pub, but when I stayed there it was very quiet and peaceful.
The room was cute and warm, and the master was a nice person, so I would like to stay there again.
Recommended for solo travelers.

Stayed here in August 2024 for 2 nights. Great location to see the city, right next to the canal where there are a good range of bars. Hostel was pretty quiet, no-one using the social areas while I was there. Also heard rumours of bed bugs and came away with a few bites. Good value for what it was, but not my favourite hostel.

Beware Bedbugs!!! I thought I had a nice stay until I came away covered in bedbug bites. The location is okay, close to a bus stop, on a street with nice restaurants and cafes, and a short walk away from the old town. Sadly I didn’t see the reviews of bedbugs on Hostelworld until I had left. I stayed in the Louis room and came away covered in bites. :(
