Absolutely lovely place and family, they make you feel like you are a friend rather than just a guest. The room (La Vac) is very comfortable not the most spacious though. it has a nice walk in shower with a nice overhead one also. The room opens out through a sliding door to face out into their garden this has a table and chairs to relax with whilst watching the sunset etc. The kitchen is lovely, it gives you an insight in to the real French life. Breakfasts were great, plenty to eat Croissants and other breads etc. all fresh. highly recommend this. you also find this is a good time to chat with Gwenaëlle, to get great info of places to head for and any other tips. Her husband has limited English but is also very friendly. they have to charming boys and 2 dogs and there are several cats floating around. The garden leads over to their chicken coops and some Geese and other ducks/ water fowls. There are also 2 donkeys and a horse in the field. Parking is easy and getting in and out of the drive was not to difficult as the roads never seem to busy. Whilst there we went to St Michel, the Normandy beaches, St Malo, Dinard, Bayeaux, and many other places etc. we also went to a couple of places where there were waterfalls etc. La Grande Cascade was one of them. For places to eat you will need to drive out, the closest is 15 minutes away, we also went to Saint Lo to eat etc. In summary: Wonderful friendly people, nice and clean accommodation, great area to get some decent sight seeing in
