The Nkhosi Livingstone Lodge and Spa

Great place, very friendly staff, breakfast was just scrumptious. From the downsides is the lack of TV and some amenities, such as toothbrush, hair dryer or a rubbish bin. Besides the minor inconveniences I’d recommend the place!

While working in Livingstone for a couple of weeks this was my weekend of relaxation at Nkhosi. What a treat. So much TLC went into this place: Tender Loving Care. Beautiful set up in a lush garden with a great pool, a spacious and comfortable room and the lovely dishes from the restaurant. Not to mention the friendliness of the staff. I don't think you can get any better in Livingstone.

The beauty of this place is the host and crew; everyone makes you feel like family. It's not a huge hotel or a small b&b; it's the perfect place to get to know your group or others from around the world. The kitchen crew prepared delicious meals and graciously accommodated special dietary needs. They will book excursions online before or after your arrival and assist with details. The rooms are huge, cleaned every day and are very comfortable with extra pillows, ceiling fans, AC and a mosquito net for piece-of-mind. There is a beautiful pool area and great wifi, too.

Biggi and Sonile couldn’t be more accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing experience. Their staff is fantastic. Grounds are beautiful. Pool very nice. Rooms are huge. There is no air conditioning, but rooms are designed for cross ventilation and have ceiling fans. Also no TV, but we sat around the fire every night talking about the days experiences and planning the next days activities over some fine South African wine and tasty local beer. Breakfast was very good. Huge portions. English style. They have so many suggestions of things to do in the area. But reserve a morning or two to enjoy sitting by the pool too! We definitely will come back.

A piece of heaven in Zambia!! This lodge is a real, authentic African experience with a slight touch of our modern needs. The lodge rooms are culturally named, the rooms are very spacious! The furniture is wooden which is lovely. The bathroom is large and the room is equipped with a fridge. The lodge is very well located, close to everything! There is a lovely pool which lights up at night! The staff are the highlight. They are always looking out for your needs for example they will bring you pool towels without being asked. Now 4 major highlights to mention: 1. The chef - wowwwwww you have not eaten amazing food until you eat dinner here!!!everything is a amazing even the butter that they placeon the table is amazing. 2. The serenity and peace the lodge offers (architecturally it is also built in such way that all you feel is peace) 3. The Zambian massage offered at the spa is life changing. 4. The owners are very humble, professional and friendly. They are actively involved in the lodge and add a homely yet topnotch touch to the place. A special shout out to the manager Natasha,who made our stay memorable. What a bright, deeply intelligent and hospitable manager!!! I cannot wait to return!

We loved staying at this lodge! Accommodation was lovely, it is very serene and peaceful, with lovely gardens. Food was excellent and we very much enjoyed all our meals! We honestly couldn’t fault it!
