An absolute gem! The owner, Chantal, is very involved in overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and it shows. They were extremely accommodating - we had an outdoor camper trailer which they allowed us to park and connect to electricity. All the staff are super friendly and polite. The rooms are tastefully decorated/designed and the bed was vey comfy. Beautiful outdoor pool and bar. Can’t recommend highly enough!! Only 2 suggestions for improvement: 1) A signpost is desperately needed on the main road and T-junction to show where the place is. 2) Put a hairdryer in the room.

We stayed two nights and loved our time at Ngomo Zanga. Every one of the staff - notably Kenny, Caroline, Destiny and Maggie - were super-friendly and genuinely cared about our experience. The breakfast was first rate - best Eggs Florentine I’ve ever had - and the dinner was good too, freshly prepared with care and attention to presentation and taste. The bed was extremely comfortable and the big shower brilliant. Great to have a room facing poolside and the outdoor space is lovely. The ambience is very African, very stylish and artistic, whilst also being homely. We were made to feel like family, with such efficient and personal service - it was exceptional. Thank you to you all - we hope to be back soon!

Firstly a big mistake was not having US dollars pound sterling or Euros or Rand . You will need these and probably US dollars are the best. We had booked this hotel so we could visit the Vic Falls. Being newbies we did not understand that but the Waterfalls that time of year were in Zimbabwe so we got a shuttle courtesy of Cliff to Zimbabwe and went through border controls which is easy and not so far although extortionate in cost. Where does that money go?? In any case we were happy to stay in Zambia as I'm sure their hospitality would outshine Zimbabwe. The falls were spectacular. Caroline and in particular Kennedy were very helpful and knowledgeable. For the ignorance like us, the first language in Zambia is English. So we showed our ignorance by complimenting them on their good English LOL. The rooms were very comfortable and the food was of good quality. You will get good mango courtesy of the giant mango tree in situ.

Enjoyed our stay here. Caroline in particular was always helpful and pleasant, though all staff were good to interact with. We liked the aesthetic of the reception hall, outdoor food and drinks above the pool, and comfortable beds and large shower. The staff made it easy to organise anything around the area, even though the location itself is down a couple of backstreets. The premises is gated, keys for doors, and a safe provided. Gets a recommendation from me.

Had a brief window to visit Livingstone with some colleagues for one night in the middle of a business trip to Lusaka. The lodge was wonderful and the staff were amazing. The room was very comfortable and felt very posh. The lodge is really decorated with interesting art and craft work. They helped us book a game drive and arranged for us to get to the falls the same day, then back to the airport. Definitely do the game drive in the morning if you can - we saw everything we wanted to see: elephant, rhinoceros, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, a crocodile, antelope, and many many birds. Would definitely come again.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Ngoma Zanga Lodge, Caroline and Kennedy are both so friendly and welcoming, they went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay and were always willing to help in any way they could to make our holiday perfect. The property is really well maintained and kept clean, the decor in the rooms, reception area and dining room/bar is lovely and authentic and the pool area is beautiful. Load-shedding is a new issue in Zambia however the staff had managed to adapt and minimise the issues that it caused and a generator was installed by the owner a few days before we left. We wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend Ngoma Zanga Lodge!

Nice and helpful staff. Room relatively small for three adults but beds nice and comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Pool cleaning was not performed every day, which is a pity. Dinner in the evening very lonely (only guests) and menu quite short. Red wine served warm….we had to load it with ice. Same for beer. Food ok. All transfers and taxi requirement handled swiftly. Nice touch with som freshly picked mango from their vast mango trees shadowing the pool area.

The Ngoma lodge was a nice oasis in Livingston! The accommodations were comfortable and the pool was especially nice. The best part of the experience was the wonderful staff and hospitality. Caroline, the manager, took us in as family from day one and made sure we were well taken care of. We received great recommendations on places to eat, to shop, and to have authentic cultural experiences. She connected us with a good driver, Steve, who took us everywhere. Ken, the other manager, was also super friendly and helpful and gave us many insights. He promptly took care of any little requests that came up. We really enjoyed our interactions with Ken and Caroline. The rest of the staff, including the kitchen staff and room attendants Naomi and Destiny were so kind and attentive. Overall our stay at the Ngoma lodge was superb and we were most impressed by the quality of the staff!
