We stayed in the Landela Tents for 3 nights in February. The tents were spacious, clean, and have permanent attached bathrooms. The showers are outdoors, but very private. There is AC in the tents, but because of the brown outs, there was no power during the day. However, the lodge ran the generators at night (on a set schedule)so that we had water and light and could charge devices every night. As it is low season and we stayed mid week, we almost had the entire lodge to ourselves. We had the pool to ourselves every day, usually the restaurant too. It was a perfect way to recharge and enjoy some quiet. The bartenders were excellent- 5 stars! The food was great. Nice cappuccinos in the morning. Service was decent in the restaurant. At night, we sat at the bar and watched the hippos come in from the Zambezi. It was really lovely. We did a river cruise our first night as well. As there were only 3 of us we used the small boat. This meant Specter could chat with us all the time, and could stop and look whenever something interested us. It was a beautiful sunset cruise where we saw crocs, hippos, impala, bush buck, monkeys, and many types of birds. For other expenses/excursions I would suggest going your own way, though the lodge will assist with booking. Our taxi from the airport was 1/3 of the transfer fee the lodge wanted. We kept the drivers number so the rest of our excursions were much more affordable.

1. Great Staff 2. Beautiful scenery 3. Good food The place has a great environment where the staff welcomes you and is quite helpful. There are a number of great things to see. The elephant view early in the morning is one of the best. The restaurant has some great picks and food is always served timely.

We had a family and friend group stay in Chalets at the Maramba River Lodge and it was exceptional all of the staff were friendly professional and caring. They were able to assist to organise many added adventures for our stay. The rooms where delightful and the meals and drinks were very good value for money and tasty would love to stay here again some day 🐘

We stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights, with visiting family from Europe. We had selected a family chalet, which was ideal. Very neat, super clean, well appointed, and with a nice view onto the green garden. The restaurant was also great, lovely breakfast and dinner, very friendly service. And an absolutely brilliant sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi, under the careful and interesting guidance of our captain, Sector. Certainly the best place to stay, when in Livingstone!

A fantastic place to stay, staff friendly and helpful. This place has a certain charm , not a high end 5 star hotel but that's probably not a bad thing. The chalet I had consisted of 2 rooms , 2 aircon units and fans. The shower was great, lots of hot water, plenty of towels and clean & tidy. Very comfortable double bed, with mosquito nets. There were 2 fridges . There's a great riverside bar , beer cold and they do a great gin and tonic. A great spot to relax . The food was good, try the beef curry delicious. I enjoyed my stay here and would certainly recommend it.

Lovely place to relax watching hippos and crocodiles swim up the river. Accommodation is excellent even the outside shower. Food and staff nice too. Boat trip with Captain Elephant was so nice. This was our second visit and definitely be back.

The renovated rooms are big, comfortable beds with soft pillows. My daughter does not use a pillow but had to use one at Maramba. Breakfast was okay but served on order with limited food. On our first day for breakfast, baked beans was finished. Watched crocodile swim on the river banks and some birds flying. The Maramba water river was very dirt. The grounds need to be worked on and may consider paving the foot paths. Arrived when it was raining and stepped in mud at the Chalets. Another most disappointment was on the room booking, requested for a Family Room and only to be allocated a twin room with two double beds, that's their family room type. Was expecting two separate rooms, it meant paying extra if needed another room.
