Rooms an Absolute Disgrace. Clean but Very, Very, Dated, Warn Out and Tired the 1st room Room 1, was like a Prison Cell so we asked to move the only other room available was Room 6 stained carpets, a bed with a mattress that was out of the Ark on top of a Plywood Base. It's probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept and also the worst room I ever stayed in....

Been here twice now and it is a really lovely venue. I haven't stayed at the hotel so I can't comment on that, but if you want to host a party here then this is a great venue. Really spacious and the staff are lovely. Lovely original features too..

I stayed at the Racquet Club for 1 night before catching ferry, at a very reasonable price booked direct with the hotel. The building is slightly shabby in places and very grand in others, with some of the highest ceilings I've ever seen. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good sized towels. I asked for a quiet room and got one, remarkably so for its location. The location is fantastic and very convenient for the ferry terminals. As so many other reviewers have said, the care and attention from staff was superb. The receptionist on duty went well above and beyond to get the TV in my room functioning, successfully and cheerfully. Much appreciated, and I would definitely stay there again.

Well not really sure where to start!! If you want the best. Wedding ever get booking now, you will not be disappointed, from our first visit to the day we could not have asked for more. Sue and Laura go above and beyond and I'm sure it cannot be all in there job description. The waiters and waitresses work so hard. On the day and sometime I feel they get forgotten so well done to all of you. The food was outstanding and really Couldn't of asked for more so thank you. If I could afford to do all again I would and what would I change absolutely nothing!!

Stayed in the Racquet Club Hotel while attending a football match. The positives are the friendly staff and overall cleanliness. The overwhelming negatives refer to the room. All of the furniture is ancient and not in good repair. The old wooden framed bed was propped up underneath with wooden blocks. There are far better hotels available in Liverpool for the same money so stay elsewhere!

A grand old interesting building! The staff were excellent and very helpful, but we stayed in room no 2 and the bed was far too low and too small as a double, so my wife and I did not get a good nights sleep. The food was a buffet which was ok, nothing special but edible, and breakfast was good, so overall 3/5

But found time to make us most welcome,, even found us packet of crisp as we were v hungry … suppose it was a real Liverpool welcome xx

We had our wedding here in April which was the best wedding ever! Not being biased but everyone had the best time including us (roll on our anniversary party)! The venue was perfect, we got married inside aswell as our day time and night time party (all under one roof which I loved, no worries about everyone getting from place to place) 8 rooms available for you and your guests to use aswell which is handy! And all have different styles to them! A building with real character and felt like you were in“bridgerton” at some points! The staff are what top this place off by far! They are all super helpful and friendly, they go out of their way to accommodate any needs you have! Sue and Laura in particular were amazing and there other member of staff who had long dark hair (so sorry I can’t remember her name) but thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for making it the best experience for us! From booking up until we left you were all amazing! Book this for your wedding and you won’t be disappointed! Oh and forgot to mention the food 💗💗💗🥰🥰🥰 wow we had the lamb for main! Incredible 👍🏻everyone is still commenting on how great it was! Thanks again! We’ll see you soon x
