The staff were fantastic. Location is top notch if you are an Evertonian. 2 min from the ground. Lots of takeaways along County Road. So no issues with food.

When I checked in, all my roommates were boys, and I was the only girl. Luckily, I was assigned the upper bunk near the door. There was a peculiar smell in the bed room, but overall it was okay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hostel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The common area had a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The dormitory rooms were clean and well-maintained. Each bed had its own privacy curtain, power outlet, and personal light, which made for a comfortable and convenient stay

I had a great time staying at The Pod. Ian, the landlord was so sweet. Everything was good. Pros: -We had our personal kitchen which was equiped with all the necessary items including oven, pots and pans. The bathrooms had a bidet which is the best thing ever. -Ian was so accommodating and friendly. He guided us about the neighbourhood and all -There are so many halal places to eat and other restaurants nearby. Theres almost everything available since The Pod is right at the centre. Cons -One or two times the heating had issues but Ian fixed it right away.

Good location, clean, Tim and his wife are very friendly, amazing location if going to an Everton match, it's right beside stadium. I stayed in hostel, bathroom was shared, between 6 people, they had curtains on bed for privacy

This is a very nice, homely place. I stayed there for my PLAB2 exam preparation. I must say the owner and all the staffs are very nice,cordial people. Also the location of this place is perfect providing easy access to groceries, halal food, transport. Highly recommended.

Came to attend as a Doctor for my Plan exam Myra who worked at the residency was very helpful and pleasant. I had a pleasant experience and my room had a private bathroom, it was newly painted with a brand new mattress and desk
