Good location, room and service.

What can I say one of the best hotels we have stayed in for a long time ! This is more like 5 star the hotel is beautiful the food amazing loved the small plates great location amazing rooms such helpful and friendly staff they make you feel so welcome and go above and beyond they all work so so hard I have to give a special mention to Pete and Billy they are the friendliest concierge we have ever met we wish we had them in our hotels in Leeds we will be back and must say to anyone thinking of staying here book it you won’t regret it thank you to all the amazing staff for looking after us we appreciate it - Karen

Wow - From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to have a good stay. The hotels decor is stylish, it smelt amazing and has a great location. We were greeted by Ronnie on arrival who took a genuine interest in us and why we were staying. He was quick to help with how we got to our lunch reservation and how best to get to the Pink concert that evening. Check in was easy and a nice bonus that our room was ready prior to check in time. Our room was on the 6th floor, it was stunning, perfectly thought out with little luxuries such as Temple Spa toiletries, robes, slippers, coffee machine and a mini fridge. We had cocktails in the bar with faultless service from Carlos and the cocktails were beautiful. We enjoyed the service and ambience so much that we booked breakfast for the following morning. So glad we did as again we were served by Carlos who was very attentive and friendly asking how the concert was the previous night. Breakfast itself was lovely, plenty of choice and high quality ingredients. We cannot wait to return and won’t stay anywhere else when in Liverpool. Stayed here last night, I booked this hotel as a present for my mums birthday treat and wow we were really pleased! The hotel and location was perfect for us close to everything we wanted to do in Liverpool. The staff went above and beyond, I called very last minute to see if they could do any ‘birthday surprises’ in the room to which they did a lovely birthday message for our arrival in the room and also 2 x complimentary drink vouchers along with a little birthday card was such a lovely little gesture. Breakfast was good with a decent amount of choice. We also chose to have our evening meal in the voyagers restaurant purely for convenience as we were so tired after a full day of shopping, food was nice and the staff were very tentative. The room itself was very modern and clean, stocked fridge with a selection of canned soft drinks and water and also milk for hot drinks. The bed and bedding was lovely and we had a fantastic nights sleep. Upon arrival I was apprehensive about noise as this hotel is close to lots of bars and clubs but I must say we didn’t hear any noise when in the room at night. Now onto the staff at this hotel, from our experience every single member of the team were very friendly, professional and welcoming from our arrival to us leaving the hotel. I will 100% be staying at the Halyard again, what a pleasure it has been for our trip.

Stayed here last night with friends for a concert at the M&S Bank Arena. We had room 710 - 2 big double beds - perfect for 4 of us with only a 10 min walk to the Arena. This was by far and away the nicest hotel in the UK I have ever stayed in. The staff were so courteous and helpful. Everything you needed in the room - mini bar stocked with complimentary water. Lovely comfy bed and amazing blackout blinds. Could easily have slept in and missed breakfast but glad we didn’t. Everything for breakfast you could think off. The only ****** I had - and it want that much of a big deal- was that there was 4 of us- but only 2 of everything in the room- cups , towels, dressing gowns but I’m sure reception would have provided another 2 if we would have asked . Loved my stay and I will be back

Amazing stay for a weekend away and theatre show. Rooms are immaculate, luxurious linen, towels and bathrobes. The staff are attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Visually the whole place is stunning. We had a queen double with sofa bed for 3 sharing the room. Liverpool is a lovely city and I would definitely at the Halyard again. Location is central with many places just a 10-15 minute walk.

This is absolutely how all hotels should be! The staff were lovely in particular, Pete, deserves a mention because he was warm and welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. We attended for the pink concert this week and were not disappointed during our stay. The hotel is in a central but quiet area of town which was perfect and our room was fab. Very well decorated and modern. The views from the room were great and the service from all hotel and bar staff was 100%. We would return, and we would stay here again every time. Faultless service in a great location and in a particularly lovely hotel with great staff. You couldn’t ask for more.

Lovely, clean hotel with lots of modern amenities and nice touches. Nicely decorated and well looked after. Friendly staff. Great breakfast with lots of choice, buffet style continental, fruit, cereals, toast, pastries, and then the cooked breakfast is brought to your table. Nice touches in the room like free water, biscuits and coffee pods. And the air con was much appreciated in this mini heat wave. The main negative was that there is a loud bar out the back of the hotel which had music blaring until the early hours (on a week night), so I had to put my AirPods in with white noise on to block out the noise, or I wouldn’t have slept. Also I couldn’t turn out the light under the sink (which was in the bedroom!) so had to block the light by making a wall of bags! However these things didn’t spoil our stay and we would return.
