The bar alone is worth the trip, such a beautiful conversion. We had a lovely stay for my partner's birthday and they put a balloon and chocolates in - so sweet! The service at the front desk was exceptional. The only thing I would say was a shame was that you need to pay £30pp if you wish to visit the spa/pool, which to be honest was lovely but not £60! Overall a fantastic stay, love that check out is midday and that gave us a chance to enjoy a delicious breakfast downstairs. Thanks for the experience!

The service still had teething problems. The attitude is spot on with a few exceptions but this appears to be training problems. They need to gear towards a high end cruise for staff. I have visited again but felt hussled rather than looked after. It will be great i am sure .however was promised personal service this do not happen.

The pictures and texts don't match. The classic double room in the picture has a big window. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that the classic double room is on the underground first floor, with only a small dark window. I went to the hotel's official website to confirm again that the classic double room is indeed on the underground first floor. The picture is obviously misleading. If the picture is correct, I can see that it is a very small window. I can completely choose not to choose it and pay a little more for a better one. And because it is a third party pre-paid order, I can't go to the hotel to make up the price difference and upgrade. It's really speechless🙄

I stayed at this hotel for three days when I came to Liverpool this time. In terms of hygiene, the pillowcases, sheets and bath towels all had dirty stains and yellow spots. It was really inconsistent with being a 5-star hotel (although they were replaced immediately when we asked for them). Second, it happened that the waiter left the towel in the room after cleaning the room. We returned the towel and took it away without apologizing or anything. It is recommended that you really bring your own sheets and pillowcases when you go abroad. The quality of the five-star hotels shows that the cleaning or acceptance standards of many items are not up to standard. But the dining environment in the lobby of u1s1 hotel is very beautiful, and the service and attitude in the lobby are very good. well

The room was very small and we lived on the first floor. I don’t know if it’s the smell of formaldehyde from the new decoration. It’s so smelly that I feel like I’m suffocating. We booked two rooms in total. The heater in my friend's room was broken and it was extremely cold. Even if we tried to fix it, it was of no use. I don't recommend it.

We stayed for a 4 night break, Sunday to Thursday. First impressions were great but then after a couple of days it changed. The Palm Court decor was beautiful and sitting there was the highlight of the holiday. The service though was extremely slow as there was not enough staff. Could do with a few more options on the bar menu although the food was nice that we ordered. We were disappointed with the food at breakfast and expected better from a four star hotel. Again there was not enough staff although on our last day the service was much improved. The location was fine for us but my sister has mobility issues and she struggled with the street inclines. The Albert Dock area is flat and has a lot going on so it would be a better location for anyone with mobility issues.

Beautuful hotel/building, clean and well decorated, lovely bar and lounge areas. room too warm not able to regulate temperature, not able to open windows due to it being a listed building but felt this to be unsafe un event of a fire, also bit noisy due to traffic and doors banging, breakfast over priced, reception staff very friendly and helpful, bar staff slow service and missing a smile/disinterested.

Absolutely Brilliant hotel nothing was too much trouble, service 1st class , staff wonderful especially Jess and her co workers , who recommended to amazing restaurants, certainly will be back ! Best hotel in Liverpool, and a credit to everyone! A big thank you !
