Perfect. We stayed in a maisonette room. Lovely room with a perfect Seaview. Stayed with FIL. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, including perfect, made to order scrambled eggs. There are always sunbeds available, and the hotel provides towels for the pool and the beach. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Ammes beach is across the road. The airport is a five minute taxi ride away and if you arrive in daylight and only have a small case you could walk to the hotel. Husband and I walked it a few times. There are a few lovely tavernas in walking distance. Planes fly over approximately 10 to 15 times a day but are an added bonus. I would definitely recommend staying here. The sunset is amazing too

This hotel is absolutely amazing Location,facilities and the staff have been superb We have a maisonette room which is lovely as there is 3 of us, I highly recommend this hotel There is a bit of plane noise but it lasts no longer than 15 seconds. We will certainly be returning.

We have sadly just arrived home from our stay in Kefalonia and I cannot recommend the Electra Hotel and Spa highly enough, it is probably one of the best hotels that my husband and I have ever had the good fortune to stay in. I can only mimic what others have said. The staff are absolutely amazing and cannot do enough to make your holiday a memorable experience. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, always smiling, which makes a huge difference. We both had some spa treatments and a massive shout out to the the girls that ran the Spa, sadly I didn't get their names but very professional and the facial was again, probably one of the best I have ever had, definitely worth a visit. The rooms are exceptional, very spacious with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, the beds are really comfortable...I struggle to sleep most nights , but I didn't there, and the views from our balcony of the sunset and just generally, were stunning. There are a number of beaches within walking distance, if like us, the pool is not your thing, but if it is, you will not be disappointed. There is aircraft noise, but watching the planes coming in to land, somehow added to the experience, it certainly did not make us wish we had chosen somewhere different. It is well documented that there will be planes flying over the hotel, if you feel that would detract you from enjoying what this beautiful hotel has to offer...don't book it! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and cannot wait to go back.

I'm sitting in Kefalonia airport awaiting a flight home to the UK, reflecting on the 2 weeks in this fabulous hotel. From the cleaning ladies to the waiting staff, reception and managers, all 5 star. Friendly efficient and helpful. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly cleaned everyday by the lovely ladies with a smile and a cheerful kali mera. Beds incredibly comfortable with clean linen every other day and towels daily. The rooms have everything you could need, including an umbrella! Luckily that wasn't required. Breakfasts were delicious. Chefs made eggs to your liking and a good range of Greek goodness on the buffet. Lunch was equally good. Lovely pool area to soak up the sunshine with clean towels provided. What was a lovely touch was the iced water dispenser by the pool bar to help yourself. All in all I will highly recommend this hotel. Very sad to be leaving this wonderful hotel and island. We will be back!

Wow wow wow - if I could give this hotel 6 stars I would. From the moment we arrived being greeted by the manager and staff with a glass of Prosecco to the time we left this hotel is sensational. Staff are amazing cannot do enough for you massive thanks to Elia for looking after us at breakfast always smiling and chatting to Concierge Marianna K who organised our trips and Olive Lounge restaurant for my wife’s birthday and the birthday cake on our last day. Hotel only has 34 rooms but is immaculate we stayed in a sea view room with private pool. If you want a relaxed break and be truly looked after this hotel will fit your needs. See you again Electra soon we will be back

Unsure about the proximity to the airport, we were won over by the friendly staff, well thought out facilities and chic but accessible restaurant. Our balcony overlooked a lush garden with views of beautiful Ammes beach and gorgeous sunsets. A spa visit is a must - a tranquil hideaway where Antonia gave us a warm welcome and I had a fantastic massage with Efthimia, who worked out some tough knots! Yes, planes do pass overhead but they are no nuisance. This is a little airport with a restricted timetable after all.

We highly recommend this place for couples or small families looking to explore Kefalonia from a quiet, scenic base. Go for the room with private pool, definitely worth it. You have nice taverns in proximity, a supermarket and of course a nice and quiet beach with sand

The entire staff could not do enough for us to help make this stay one of the best we have had. Starting with the manager Elias and the entire wait staff who were attentive to our every need, the cleaning staff that kept the room in perfect condition to the cooks whose dinners were excellent, everyone exceeded our expectations. The view from here is calming and beautiful, even therapeutic the entire staffwork as a team to ensure that every pleased.
