Astra Village Hotel Suites

A fantastic stay at Astra village. We stayed half board through Jet2 and I can honestly say it was a great experience from start to finish, so much so we have already booked for next year. Room (52) was great with a small kitchen (sink, kettle, fridge - note only provide tea cups so if you want a mug, bring your own), lovely rainhead shower, all pretty modern. 2 single beds in this room but most have a large double apparently. We personally found the food (we were half board) very good. Most of the time it was hot and different each day, always a soup, 3 or so different meat dishes and plenty of veggies etc. Chips seemed to be every other day. Small but delicious salad offering. Breakfast was your usual fayre...some cooked english, toast, cereals fruit, yoghurt, cakes and so on (no sauces so perhaps bring your own but you will find in the local supermarkets). Pool...fantastic and always plenty of very comfortable sunbeds available. Staff were great and very helpfull. All in all a fab holiday

A fabulous little hotel. Friendly helpful staff and great food. Good location, lovely views. Comfortable clean and tidy modern rooms. Gorgeous swimming pool. Spectacular sunsets! Fabulous local tavernas. We Loved the place! Highly recommended.

Just back from 10 nights at The Astra Village. Really lovely hotel. Accommodation was perfect and we had a sea view from our balcony. Pool area is lovely with really comfy sunloungers. The food was delicious. Lots of different choices every day and we couldn't fault it. Location is perfect and the staff are all really lovely. We will definitely return.

We have just had a perfect 7 night stay at this beautiful hotel where everything from the location to the service was 100% we stayed in room 62 which was a ground floor with a part sea view. The room was large, immaculately clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a super shower and very modern. The hotel itself was so pretty and ‘Greek’ with a gorgeous pool that had plenty of comfortable sunbeds. Lots and lots of beautiful cats and kittens that are friendly and great to fuss. We were half board and found both breakfast and dinner absolutely delicious. Plenty of choice and food was fresh and tasty. Buffet style menu with a range of meats and fish as well as superb vegetarian and gluten free options. The desserts were my favourite, so nice and to an excellent standard, commendations to the chefs, a credit to the hotel. The resort itself was very quiet which is perfect for us and probably the time of year too. Such a beautiful beach, 2 minutes from hotel and we really enjoyed being so close to the airport and being able to see and hear planes landing and taking off. Sounds noisy but if you are like me a bit of a closet plane geek it will be perfect. All in all a wonderful holiday made even better because of the friendly and helpful staff who work tirelessly to ensure your holiday is perfect. The hotel is beautifully clean and the rooms and hotel in general is lovely. The staff are very hard working and pleasant and cannot do enough for you. The beds are very comfortable and large double bed. The shower is very nice and always hot water. The room was clean and towels changed daily. I am sure if you pay half board and full board your experience is totally different to the newly introduced all inclusive package. We could not get bottled water until 11 am at the bar due to been all inc. The mixers were in plastic bottles and often the contents were flat and warm. The cocktail list was a choice of 4 drinks of which consisted of a child’s slush puppy and a splash of spirt. Another was a blue lagoon which at best was blue coloured water. The other was a gin and lemonade with a slice of lime and the last was a sex on the beach which was okay. The breakfast option I was happy with and enjoyed this. The lunch selection was okay and dinner was at best below standard. The quality of food served was good but the selection was very poor as this is a small hotel with a larger half board full board customer. I complained to TUI about this inclusive package as in my opinion is very below standard. On a more positive note if you stay here go self catering the food you can purchase looked delicious and lots of people came off the street to eat here. Please don’t go all inclusive however do go to this hotel but self catering. The owner was tasting food out of the hot plates and this was with their fingers. We do not have high expectations however qe do have a standard that we feel was not met. Some of the meal options were very nice but it was very hot and miss. Lovely hotel, lovely staff, beautiful pool area with gorgeous views and very luxurious beds and a relaxing stay. All I can add is this inclusive package offered quickly needs reviewing and upscaling.

Please ignore all the recent negative reviews this hotel is amazing ( our 4th visit) nothing is too much trouble , the staff cannot do enough . Spotless throughout and incredibly comfy sun loungers . The food is basic but there are plenty of restaurants around if you don't like whats on offer . I would definitely recommend going half board rather than all inclusive. Thankyou to Dorian the barman on the bar in the day he makes awesome bloody Mary's and Sylvia on the bar in the evening who makes delicious white Russians Irene you are a very special lady and deserve every success at astra village . We will be back xx
