Absolutely brilliant place! Staff super friendly, beautiful and peaceful room with really comfortable bed (!) resulting in brilliant night's sleep! Really lovely restaurant: somehow spacious and intimate at the same time ( how did they do that(?))! Food was excellent: really generous portions with loads of vegtables so you can eat indulgently but still deel healthy! The breakfasts are truly superb. So generous and absolutely delicious with apprently endless coffee at breakfast for guests... Can't wait to return

Great welcome from staff on arrival, we were showed a safe place to lock our bikes away. Comfortable, clean twin room, nice bathroom, plenty of toiletries. We had evening meal and it was lovely and also breakfast the next morning which was also nice with a good choice. A lovely location in a nice village.

One night stay. Great little pub with friendly staff, locals and other guests. Loved the room, lots of space and excellent tea/coffee/water and comfy bed, plenty of soft towels and shower gel etc. Black out blinds and warm, clean room. Oldie worldly charm, quirky with creaks and beams etc. Room over the bar, but not noisy and we slept really well. Evening meal in pub was good and a really good choice and variety for the breakfast included with room. Check out at 10am and breakfast til 11am was lovely and all bar / dining staff were really good.

Old fashioned country pub, extremely welcoming staff. Excellent food with good size portions. Would highly recommend restaurant looking forward to visiting again during the summer. Opportunity to also visit the local deli shop. Parking near pub can be an issue.

From our arrival the staff were very welcoming,we stayed local to the show in Thursford Christmas Spectacular,they kindly sorted taxi company for us.The room was excellent and so clean,white crisp sheets and spotless We were also fed high quality food both evening and morning.lucky they were also running quiz night which was great fun. So 100% recommend this hotel ,great stay

This historic hotel has been servicing the needs of pilgrims to Walsingham for hundreds of years. Rooms are quaint, but equipped with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Friendly and helpful staff, and an excellent menu providing some interesting dishes worthy of the Good Food Guide. No dedicated parking for hotel clients but free parking in the Friday Market Place if you can find a space

Maybe update your website to acknowledge the fact you aren't open 7 days a week until 11pm. Given we've just walked to get a drink and been greeted by a lad who couldn't string a sentence together to say we aren't serving anymore at 20:02 on a Monday!

Old hotel with loads of character, located right in the middle of this historic village. We had a lovely comfortable room, although there was no wardrobe, the only hanging space was on hooks on the wall. The plumbing in the shower room sometimes made interesting noises, but what can you expect in an old building? It was impossible to fault the staff - nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The breakfasts and evening meals were first class.
