Can't fault this place. Claire is an excellent cook, the food is fabulous. The rooms are beautifully fitted out, everything is very tasteful, and there's a comfortable lounge for relaxing. Highly recommended.

My husband and I just spent three nights at Frizenham Farmhouse. It was a delightful experience: comfort, kindness, cooking, cleanliness and care. We feel fortunate to have discovered the venue and to have met Claire and will return wth enthusiasm next time we visit family in North Devon

Wonderful place to start our UK holiday. The room was gorgeous, beautifully appointed, warm, spacious and very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and perfect for sleeping off jet lag. Clare was a lovely hostess and nothing was too much bother. Breakfasts were superb! Thank you Clare we hope to be back in 2027!

I'm not sure where to start really. We were initially looking for somewhere to stay for a few days whilst visiting RHS Rosemoor and the North Devon coastline. This was the perfect choice. Clare runs a very special Farmhouse B&B, incredible value for money, a wonderful room and IMO the best ever breakfasts from a B&B - local produce a lot grown on the property. It really is the perfect getaway and very personal, only 2 rooms, both modern clean and with everything you need. The free Wifi was very fast and reliable. Thanks for being such a great host Clare..... if any of you are thinking of booking Frizenham get on with it, you will not be disappointed!

We were in the area to visit RHS Rosemore and this B&B was almost an extension to that garden. The conservatory by which you enter is full of a wonderful array of tropical plants and the gardens are extensive. The welcome is very friendly, the large double bed very comfortable with a good ensuite. A good breakfast is included which is mainly home produced products including fruits and eggs. A very quiet location and ample parking.

After just two nights at Clare and Mike's Devonshire farmhouse, my wife and I can thoroughly recommend this peaceful oasis to anyone looking for a b+b above and beyond the norm, for norm this is not. The house is brim full of character, the guest rooms beautifully furnished, offering a perfect nights sleep (bed, pillows, linen - top spec). Moreover, Clare and Mike's evening meals were sensational, the lamb dish served with veg from their garden quite simply the best lamb we've ever tasted. Breakfast likewise was delicious. Our hosts were only too willing to answer our incessant questions about their small holding, the food (yards not miles), the house and surrounding area. All in all, an experience that lasted all too short a time. A masterclass in running a b+b!

Stayed at the Frizenham Farmhouse on a short touring holiday, after visiting RHS Rosemoor. This B&B is small - just 2 bedrooms and the owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Our room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable, giving us a good night's sleep. We elected to eat "dish of the day" at the Farmhouse, which was lamb chops and veg - all of which was "home grown" and beautifully cooked. Breakfast in the morning had the option of ‘continental’ or full English. We opted for the latter, again beautifully cooked. While the Farmhouse is remote there was a good WiFi signal. We will stay again when in the area.
