Staying in a youth hostel, I think the key point is to talk about the atmosphere. The little brother at the front desk and the little brother of the store manager are very fun. I will stay here again next time I go there.

We stayed only one day in Litang (way too short) but had a fabulous time, and the people from the guesthouse were definitely part of this! This is a real ‘homestay’, with a large common space for people to gather (see the picture), super friendly service from everyone working here, beautifully decorated rooms with high quality sanitary and amenities, and an oxygen machine in every room (useful at an altitude of 4000 meters), … We wanted to go from from Litang to Shangrila and the owner helped us fetch a ride - highly appreciated!
