This is an unusual place to stay as it is a classic castle with a large stone spiral staircase. You should request a lower room if you have any difficulty with stairs but you cannot avoid them altogether. There is air-conditioning in the dark entrance hall but not in the bedrooms. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable with fashionable decor and a bright ambiance. It was well, uniquely and expensively furnished. There are a number of communal rooms, all very interesting as well as a dining room and terrace. Breakfasts were excellent. There is also an outside pool with great views across the lake. Overall a good place for a stopover or short stay.

A warm welcome from the owners, laid back and juggling their 5th-born child while settling us in. A stunning, spacious suite for 3 lucky teenage kids of ours, and a beautiful room for my husband and I overlooking a huge magnolia tree and down to the lake below. We were fortunate to arrive during the Lissac fete, with moules marinere for 5 and some stand-out live music. We only had 20hrs to enjoy this Chateau en route from Avoriaz to Biarritz. We'd love to return.

C'est la seconde fois que nous sejournons au château de lissac. L'accueil de Cécile et Nicolas est toujours parfait, des hotes charmants et attentionnés. Le château est superbe, modernisé avec goût, le parc est magnifique et la piscine apporte un confort supplémentaire. Sur la route des vacances ou pour un séjour dans la région de brive ce château un peu hors du temps, dans un village calme, au bord du lac et à 2 pas de brive est une étape extraordinaire. Le petit déjeuner est également une superbe expérience par sa qualité, ses choix mais également pour l'équipe qui met tout son cœur et sa gentillesse pour vous faire bien démarrer la journée. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et très confortables. Seul petit bémol le wifi, un peu limité (dans certaines chambres) mais les murs du 10eme siècle n'ont pas été prévus pour...

Opción súper de alojamiento en Dordoña a pocos minutos de Brive. Decoración exquisita y confort con gran jardín y vistas al lago Causse que te dejarán maravillado. Desayuno con productos de la región y atención amable del staff y sus dueños Nicolás y Cecile.

Tout a été parfait. De l'accueil jusqu'au petit dejeuner, l'ensemble de nos interlocuteurs ont été tres sympa. De la chambre au salles communes, les deco sont de très bons goûts. Nous reviendrons certainement en été pour profiter de la piscine et de la vue sur la vallée.

Magnifique château, chambre vaste et très bien décorée, situation calme, même en étant pas très éloignée de l'autoroute, hôte attentionné et petit déjeuner excellent... que demander de plus ? Allez-y les yeux fermés. Profitez également du restaurant sis à côté du chateau (le relais de Lissac) qui propose des plats locaux de qualité !

Très belle demeure surplombant le lac de chasteau avec une vue splendide dont on peut profiter de la terrasse du petit déjeuner, du jardin ou même de la piscine. Intérieur aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et de confort, notre chambre était très spacieuse. Super petit déjeuner ! Bref, séjour très agréable : merci à nos hôtes pour le très bel accueil à lissac !

Des hôtes très discrets, serviables et desireux de faire de votre séjour un moment chaleureux. Nous y sommes retournés pour la deuxième fois: le lieu est magique, les chambres très confortables, la vue et le petit déjeuner merveilleux . L’environnement est propice au calme et au repos.
