“Ant” good!
We arrived at the property late in the evening. There were tiny ants crawling on the floor and bed, which were not seen until the morning. When mentioned to the hotel front desk clerk, along with a video, he offered an apology.

Good: nice room, comfortable bed, very clean Bad: only 1 person spoke English, other staff had no patience and dismissive when I tried to speak French. Didn’t care at all when no transport available to the train station on a Sunday. Staff member shrugged and walked off. No daily housekeeping. **No taxis or uber on a Sunday, so when you checkout on a Sunday, you have to walk with your luggage to the train station**

The room, although small, was comfortable.However, the staff did not know what they were doing when they charged my account for the breakfasts. I was overcharged €38,74. Am in the process of recovering this amount.

Booked this hotel as a last minute stopover while travelling through France. We were greeted by friendly staff, we had 2 rooms for the family they were well presented clean and tidy. The hotel was situated in the centre of town it didn’t have any parking although it was easy to park. Me and my wife had a meal in the restaurant which was fantastic. Breakfast was what you would expect for a continental breakfast.

We booked a three night stay in a deluxe room with balcony and half board. The room was tiny. It transpired, after a difficult conversation as the staff and owner do not speak English and I don’t speak French, that although they had received confirmation from Expedia.com about the booking they chose to put us in a standard room with only breakfast included! This was because the price quoted by ********** was too cheap for them! Finally got through to ********** who suggested we still dine with hotel, pay for the meal and send the receipt to ********* who will then refund us up to £25 a night. As that will only cover two starters I don’t see that is much of an apology.

The hotel is kitsch. The owners believe that their decoration is artistic. But she is simply kitsch. That's no big deal. But the rest of the hotel leaves something to be desired for a four star. No toiletries. A restaurant that cannot produce four dishes in an hour and a half. A bitter waitress who explains without laughing that if you want to be served a dish in less than two hours, you have to say that you are in a hurry. But above all a waitress annoyed that we point out to her that the service is too long, which then encourages the other customers of the restaurant to call us names so that a fight starts. Io e mia moglie abbiamo soggiornato in tantissimi hotel in vari continenti ma una esperienza così non ci è mai capitata. Tanto ci sarebbe da scrivere e così vado solo per argomenti: reception misura circa 1,5 mt per 3 mt. Banco reception misura 0,80 mt per 1,20 mt. accoglie a mala pena un COMPIUTER. Spazi comuni inesistenti. Il resto del piano terra dove credo un tempo ci sia stata la reception è ora occupata da un ristorante dove spesso sono i ragazzi che dovrebbero essere in reception. Al nostro arrivo riguardo la nostra richiesta per parcheggiare l’auto non sono stati di nessun aiuto. Camera e bagno sono stati recentemente ristrutturati ma sia per il colore del tinteggio che per l’arredo sono a dir poco allucinanti. Erano presenti due accappatoi con ciabatte da camera .. un paio erano usate. Dulcis in fondo la colazione preparata in una stanza al primo piano che sicuramente era una camera da letto ( il tutto sempre per fare posto al ristorante al piano terra), non era presente nessun personale di servizio e i posti sono stretti e non adeguati come numero. Insomma ditemi voi se questo è un hotel a quattro stelle. Faremo anche una segnalazione al DIREZIONE BRIT HOTEL.
