Reschio is an incredible property with and an exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived, every detail was flawless. Our room was much larger than we were expecting with a gorgeous view of the pool and thoughtful details like fresh flowers from the grounds, charming photos of the couple who owns the property, and a complimentary bar with things like fresh squeezed juices and Reschio gin. Every morning we hiked around the property on lovely trails surrounded by wild flowers and epic views that stretched unobstructed for miles and miles. At night we listed to live piano music in the bar and then chose between two fabulous restaurants that had some of the best food we have had in a very long time, full of garden vegetables and fruit from the property. We recently ate at one of the top five restaurants in the world and we were happier with the food at Reschio. It was that caliber. The staff was also excellent. They had a way of anticipating every need or desire before we expressed it and seemed to read each guest well enough to know which ones wanted to talk and which ones wanted total privacy and silence. We also took a wonderful pottery class that was very worth the cost. Our instructor was amazing. Our only regret about staying at Reschio was that we didn't book more of the classes and experiences! For the price, Reschio could be so much less. Instead, they care about style, creativity, originality, excellence, and quality -- which is sadly hard to find these days. Reschio is a modern treasure.

This place was off the scale amazing. It has ruined all future holidays for me because nothing else will ever compare. Absolutely everything was perfection. The room was incredible with loads of complimentary drinks, food etc. The equestrian facilities were so amazing I think I actually cried with joy, and cantering through the Tuscan countryside was a dream come true. The food was absolutely top drawer and the service from all staff was seamless and perfect. The pool is much larger than it seems from photos and heated to the perfect temperature. I had the best facial of my life. Despite being obviously very expensive they actually made it seem good value and now I will spend the rest of my life endeavouring to go back at every opportunity!

Couple of months ago we saw an advertisement of Reschio Resort. We liked it and we tried to book, but there were no free rooms. After two days they contacted us and suddenly they found one, but , luckily for us ,we had already booked in Borgo dei Conti Relais. Although we wanted to see Reschio, as we are looking for a place for our wedding party in September. We booked a lunch and we wanted to see the common places of the resort. And here comes the big surprise, disappointment and rude attitude! They didn’t let us see the common places! We spent 300 euros for a lunch, and we only saw the restaurant. The place has 1.1 m fake followers and good marketing . It’s very, very overrated, overpriced and snobbish. The food is absolutely questionable, for this price you can easily go to a Michlen star restaurant! Don’t waste your money there, Borgo dei Conti Relais is much better and half price, with a better service .

Simply unique. Reschio is more than a hotel, it has a story to tell, and places like this are rare. It’s incomparable. The owners have created their own world here, it took them years, but every detail was thoughtfully considered, and the results are extraordinary. The ambiance, music, entertainment organised during the day or in the evening, delicious meals for both lunch & dinner, the wines, they all contribute to an unforgettable experience. We were extremely lucky with the weather, Imagine swimming in a pool surrounded by trees that seem to emerge from the water at 24 degrees in early November! Surrounded by flowers, candles in teh evening, horses, and even wild deer, the expansive grounds feel endless. From start to finish, the welcoming, attentive staff make you feel indulged. The quality of the beds was also exceptional, which is personally important to me. We will definitely return!

Absolutely stunning property with extensive grounds. It's a 1000 year old castle so the rooms can be a bit odd. Every room is different and some are just way too themed out and feel like being in a Disney world period piece room. Some of the rooms on the first floor have giant windows that look into the courtyard so you won't have privacy. It's really tricky. We requested a bright, airy room with a view months before going and then they tried to put us in a dark room with a bathroom in a dungeon with no window. We moved immediately but they made a huff about it. Also we were supposed to get an upgrade via the service we booked through subject to availability but they said they didn't have any upgrades (but then ten minutes later offered us a larger room which was one tier up upgrade but said they would have to charge us the price difference of 1000 euros. We declined.) When we were being shown around our new room, we were given this strangely serious speech about not being allowed to post on social media which makes no sense as there are a ton of photos of the hotel all over social media from guests. And then the lady looked at me and just repeated that there was no posting on social media. The Kardashians, Gwentyh Paltrow, and Rosie Huntington Whitely have all posted their stay, some extensively! Of course I posted as did everyone else staying there. Room was very well equips with homemade snacks, radio, slippers, and amazing bedding! I was very pleased with the amenities. The hotel is all new and pretty and we enjoyed walking the grounds. The views are amazing and the grounds are well kept. Spa was really cool but the staff was not the friendliest. We loved the live music in the palm court. Food at both restaurants is hit or miss. Pool is gorgeous and the lunch at the pool was very good. Service was also very good by the pool for the most part. Service otherwise was lacking all around from the top to bottom. There were two waiters who were very on top of it but otherwise it wasn't up to par for this hotel class and pricing. Despite them knowing my allergies, I was served these items accidentally which is not OK. When we discussed this with the hotel manager he gave us a laundry list of excuses and then said "next time it won't happen." It was very off-putting. Then, when we went to make a reservation at the fancier restaurant for dinner one day, they told us the time we wanted wasn't available and they would try and accommodate us at 8 vs 7:30. We asked to sit outside and they said they cannot garuntee it because of bookings and other requests. When we arrived at 7:45 we were one of two couples in the entire restaurant and the entire outside was empty. At 8:30 two other tables showed up. They had PLENTY of space. At the pool we went to just take a photo of this little cabana and the attendant ran over and asked if we had reserved it. We had not and did not even know we could. She was very anxious we were there for some reason a

Hotel Castello di Reschio is likely the most stunning place I have ever stayed. My wife and I came on our honeymoon and cannot recommend it enough (both a honeymoon in Italy and this stop). The level of service at Reschio is truly unmatched. We had plans to take day trips throughout our stay but found the grounds so incredible and relaxing we ended up not leaving the property. From mountain biking to hiking, sitting at the beautiful pool, and playing backgammon in the main garden room, the entire stay was incredible. The whole staff were all wonderful - in particular the sommelier Marcheno - and the entire menu was very accommodating to allergens. My wife is gluten free and they had gf bread and pasta options for every meal.

All in all this is a very nice place. Staff is terrific. Food is excellent. Cooking class was wonderful. But they need to do some things to get things right here. Wild loud and jumping in the pool small kids has to be stopped. That is not relaxing and really detracts from the atmosphere. Same for loud entitled guests walking around all over the public spaces (pool included) on loud cell phone calls. Nobody wants to hear other people's business calls. Funny that they are so particular here about not allowing the taking of pictures that might include other guests and guest privacy and drones (you even have to sign a document) but they allow absolute loud and rambunctious anarchy on the grounds like this. These issues need to be addressed.
