Lisbon Inn Bica Suites

Review: I wish I could give zero stars. This was, without a doubt, the worst night I’ve ever had in any accommodation. First of all, the room we booked was not the room we got. The bed was broken in the middle, making it impossible to sleep comfortably—not that we got any sleep anyway, thanks to what happened next. Around 1 AM, a man upstairs started screaming like a lunatic. He kept this up for over two hours, banging on doors as if he was trying to break in. It was absolutely terrifying. I didn’t dare to leave my room because I didn’t feel safe. The lights in the building kept going on and off, doors slammed repeatedly, and the whole situation felt completely out of control. At 3 AM, I was seriously considering leaving for a hotel instead. When we informed the hosts, their response was far from reassuring. If you're looking for a safe and peaceful stay where you actually get what you booked, stay far away from this place.

Very good location, right in the old part of Lisbon. The famous train is just around the corner. Well organised and clean. The only downside is that it is very noisy at night because of the club nearby. At around 6am the rubbish collectors come to collect the rubbish which is right next to the room. You can't sleep...

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in our stay at the Lisbon Inn Bica suites… 1) when we booked in May, they stated we could drop off our luggage before check in and even went as far as to say they may have a room ready for us… this week, they told us they could only take out luggage at check-in time at 2pm or leave our bags unattended in a hallway as they no longer have a front desk. 2) Google and multiple travel websites led us to believe there was a breakfast… there was not. 3) The air conditioning only blew out hot air. And they must know about the malfunctioning AC as we found 2 fans in the room that we had to use to get any sleep, it was hot in the room and they only provided us with a thick blanket, no thin sheet. 4) The booking said we’d get a room, turned out to be a tiny appartement, right off a busy walkway with lots of people at all hours of the day and night. The vents in the door let all the noise in and kept us awake. 5) probably the worst thing of all… Cockroaches (we managed to kill one and send pictures to booking .com who we booked through) we later found pest control devices under the bed, which leads me to believe cockroaches is a known problem.
