Booked a superior double room for 4 nights. I would not say it was good value for money - meaning overpriced.
Pros:
The location is great, very central. The guesthouse is sandwiched between a shoe store. The sign is very small and hard to find it.
The services are good. The staff checking us in gave quite some touring tips. The room is clean. All staff were polite.
The bathroom is spacious.
Cons:
The superior room we booked are no where near the photos shown on the booking website. The room is equipped with very basic furniture. The wardrobe looks like an old fireplace with No shelves to put clothing on.
Neutral: the breakfast had a big variety. But the tapas looked stale and bread was stone hard to cut with the knife. Egg tarts and cakes were delicious
Overall, it was overpriced for the room we booked. A guesthouse room with a 4 star hotel price.

The hotel stay experience is great! The superior king room with balcony is spacious and bright, facing the ancient city, and the view is quite charming both day and night. All the staff of the hotel are very warm and thoughtful, and the breakfast is rich. The hotel is in a good location, and Rossio subway station is just around the corner. The square downstairs has been decorated with a Christmas market, which is very lively and ends at 11 pm, so it does not affect rest. Very satisfied!
An excellent holiday experience in this very nice boutique hotel. Room is very big and full of sunlight. All staff are pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is very good, and, the artistic ambience is brilliant. Last but not the least, location is perfect!

Stay here when in Lisbon
What a great stay! One of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. Clean and comfortable. The staff is great and help you out tremendously when planning your day(s). A wonderful breakfast buffet. Centrally located in Lisbon.

Not just a hotel but an experience
My wife, daughter, and I enjoyed everything about the Tesouro da Baixa except finding it (the front door's sandwiched between two shoe stores). Marvelous and helpful staff, spacious rooms, great views from our balcony, fresh eggs cooked to order from the hotel's own chickens, eclectic art decorating the walls and halls, perfect central location to hold Lisbon in the palm of your hand. Highly recommended.
