Location/Transportation: On the side of Liberty Avenue, close to the subway station, walk along Liberty Avenue to the Arc de Triomphe and the Tagus River, no climbing, no effort. Lobby/front desk: Beautifully decorated, with ice water. Friendly service! Room: Spacious and comfortable! I was given a corner room facing the square. The square is noisy until midnight during festivals. If you care, you can tell the front desk. Hygiene: Good Breakfast: Quiet! Exquisite food! Facilities: Shower, no bathtub.

Can't say enough good things about this Hotel and its top-notch staff. we were staying there during the Iberian blackout, no power, no internet or Wi-Fi and very spotty cell service. Although the staff didn't know much more than we did they made every effort to keep things as normal as possible and everyone at the Hotel safe. All the restaurants were closed so the hotel provided boxed lunches for all guests and made wine and drinks available. On the morning of the second day power had been restored but still no internet and the staff used their own phones as hot spots so we could check flights and get boarding passes. Everyone at the hotel kept a calm and professional deminer during the entire event. Aside from the hotels Parkside location and walking distance to restaurants and beautiful decor it's the people that make the difference.

Staff here are great, we checked in while Portugal was experiencing a power outage and they had boxed lunches for us which we appreciated. All businesses and restaurants were closed, no traffic lights! Diogo was very helpful despite no internet and waning daylight.

Great location, bit of construction in area but seems to be everywhere in Lisbon. Great little restaurants right across lane. Staff were lovely and helpful!! Thanks for map and run down of city from David on front desk.

We loved this hotel for many reasons but the primary one was the staff. They were always so helpful and went above and beyond! Ines, David and Diogo were just the best in helping with restaurant recommendations, how to get service for an Apple phone when the touch screen didn’t work, and finding us a way to get to the airport on Liberty Day with all kinds of streets closed. The hotel is charming, quiet and an easy walk to restaurants and high end shops. We would stay again for sure!

Great hotel and location Our room 108 was HUGE for Europe standards. Had plenty of room for two large suitcases on stands. Armoir for hanging a few things. The bathroom, though, nicely upgraded was small but overall this was the best room we had while traveling in Spain and Portugal. Also, great location to access restaurants, shops etc.

This charming hotel is a gem The Alegria A Lisbon Hotel was our first stop in Portugal and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and welcoming hotel. Everything about the hotel is wonderful. Super helpful and lovely staff, the room was so comfortable with large shuttered windows that looked over a typically charming Lisbon street, the breakfast was perfect and my husband and I loved the area. I really can't say enough about how great this hotel experience was. The hotel also is affiliated with the nice outdoor cafe that is in the charming little park across the street. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Lisbon.

Such a beautiful hotel with lovely, helpful and friendly staff. Our room was gorgeous and we were lucky enough to overlook the park opposite. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel also has a booth in the park where you can get coffee, drinks and food in the sun. It’s just perfect.
