Solar Dos Poetas

Great staff, super clean and most importantly location, location, location. I highly recommend it!!!

I had a wonderful time at Solar dos Poetas. The service was exceptional and the breakfast was bar service were also both very good. The location was perfect for us, with a trolley stop directly in front of the hotel door leading to many of the main sights. It is also very walkable, allowing us to explore and find new fun places even late into the night. The windows were incredibly soundproof, going from the noise of a lively ***** square to total silence. I'm really glad we chose this area over some others because it really allowed us to experience the city in ways that make Lisbon feel unique. The other hotel we considered was on a big road that felt indistinguishable from any other European capital. This place felt like a 4* neighborhood hotel which was much more enjoyable.

The piano bar music was a superb way to say have a great day. Management was eager to please and professionally offered us great advise how to access what we were looking for. The view of the square elevated our spirit. This is one of the best rooms we ever stayed in.

I really enjoyed my time at Solar dos Poetas. The staff was incredibly helpful and the location was very central and easy to get around. Would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel es very well located. Close walk to everything. Downside, the walls are paper thin so you can hear next room conversations bringing it very difficult to sleep. The rooms small, but have everything you might need. Our room was very warm even in the middle of winter, AC did not work so a bit uncomfortable at night for proper rest.

Elevator is 2 person max and very small. Breakfast starts at 8am...all our tours start early so no **e to enjoy it. The rooms are small and front desk had a hard time understanding english. The room was super noisy with the occupants upstairs running ard all night almost like it was a party. We couldnt sleep all night for a early morning flt. Contacted front desk. No reply. Location was nice. Sister hotel up the street was 10 times better.

Great location, room is clean, new and very comfortable. I wish the room had safe box, mini bar and a phone. Staff was very friendly and helpful the building is old but very well maintained, room have wooden floor on the first day I could hear the noise from the guests above me that i had to complain at the reception for them to be quiet. Great value for money
