I had the greatest stay at Casa Oliver! The staff, Miguel, Caroline and Joao were so welcoming and very helpful with restaurant suggestions, and the activities I had planned. The location was excellent and close to many shops and restaurants. Walking everywhere was a breeze. It is in an old building, which I loved for all its vintage character. A wide and winding hardwood staircase takes you up to the floors above. There is a small elevator, but I chose to walk the steps each time. the room was charming. I was in a double on the 3rd floor located on the back side. It was very clean, and the bed and pillows comfortable. It was so nice to have a Nespresso machine in the room to make a quick cup of coffee in the morning, then to relax and look out my window, with deep sills, to the view of the city beyond. There is also a room refrigerator that came in handy for fruit and snacks. They have a dining area that looked very cozy with delicious smells every morning that came from it. I am not typically a breakfast eater and did not add it to my stay. I felt completely safe walking both during the day, and the evening to late night around the neighborhood the hotel was in. They give you a code to access the door at the street and another for your room. There are ample great restaurants close by, and most in less than a 10 minute walk. My favorite morning stop was the handmade chocolate and coffee shop, Bettina Corallo, about a block away. With your coffee order, they give you a square of their delicious chocolate made right there. Of course, I always had to add extra to take with me. I would most definitely stay at Casa Oliver again!

Casa Oliver is a very cute B&B located in a perfect and quiet place to move around the city. It has bus and tram stop right in front of it and the metro at 5 minutes walking. Great breakfast. Our room (the 22) even if not very bright was quiet and nice .The staff (in particular Miguel and Carolina) are very friendly and helpful. I recommend it!

The room was very big and elegant. I felt like a Prince in Principe Real. Thanks a lot to Miguel the receptionist who made my stay exceptional by helping me when I needed anything. I highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel with the absolute BEST location at the heart of Principe Real.

As this was my first visit to Lisbon I was looking forward to a pleasant stay. This hotel did not provide that. As a woman traveling to a foreign country I did not feel safe staying at this hotel as I felt that my room was under watch by hotel staff. As we stated to the hotel we had a friend visiting our room for the day. She planned to leave after our day exploring and not spend the night. Hotel staff berated us and constantly made me feel uncomfortable about this even after we told them we understand she cannot stay. The staff overall were unfriendly compared to other places and hotels I have stayed in Portugal, and for the price you would expect differently. The bed and room size were okay. The bathroom was small and had no hand-soap or small wash cloths. Overall for the price I would stay somewhere else in Lisbon.

The most beautiful / convenient location yet so quiet. We had organised airport pick up with the guest house, which made things easy when coming out of a long flight and jet lag was kicking in. Miguel was just lovely. We paid extra to have breakfast first morning and it was great. Fresh fruit, pastries, bread, meat, cheeses, muesli just what we wanted when didn’t know the area that well yet, other days wondered out to the wild. Loved our stay hope to be back one day !

Set in an old apartment complex the hotel had so much character and charm. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated with plenty of space to hang clothes which is usually a problem. Really comfortable bed and though we didn’t like the pillows they had, we were given different ones as soon as we asked for some The bathroom may be a little small and might not be suitable for couples that aren’t used to sharing that part of personal space, but that aside, there is nothing negative I could possibly say. The location is amazing and close to everything one would expect or need. Thank you for the team for making our stay enjoyable

My spouse and I had a wonderful stay at Casa Oliver in March 2025. First and foremost, the warm welcome and the service by the staff (Joao) throughout our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The room was beautiful, very roomy with a unique decor and well furnished with fridge, kettle, coffee machine, radio, etc. The bed was extremely comfortable with quality bedding. We had breakfast included and really enjoyed it. A lot of variety of hot and cold, salty and sweet and in a very nice and cosy setting. And last but not least, it is located in a beautiful neighborhood within a walkable distance to many restaurants and sights. It also has public transport (tram #24 and bus) right in front of the hotel. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return if we go back to Lisbon.

We unexpectedly had to stay in Lisbon an extra night and our concierge booked us in the Casa Oliver at the last minute. Upon arriving, we were greeted with a very pleasant reception with Carolina, who is very pleasant, personable and helpful. The room that they gave us was a beautiful suite with two windows that overlook the park across the street. The bathroom was marvelous. The accommodations were absolutely stunning and I could not say any more, good news about this bed-and-breakfast other than it is spectacular and I cannot wait to go back and spend more time there on my next trip to Lisbon. The breakfast that we were provided at no charge was absolutely outstanding with local food, including meats and cheeses, the scrambled eggs were very good. The coffee machine was perfect, the breads and jams and jellies were out of this world cannot say anything other than a wonderful experience we were so glad we had to stay an extra day in Lisbon to enjoy these accommodations and meet Carolina who was an absolute joy to deal with. She also arranged for our driver to pick us up to take us to the airport since we had arranged it the day before, so everything was done with us in mind at the Most professionalism.
