The accommodation is old and worn. Stayed in a 2-bedroom apar**ent and the bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The view was nice. And getting breakfast delivered every morning was a really big plus.
But now to the old and worn part. Livingroom, kitchen and bathroom were old and worn. The couch was stained, the toilet buttons, malfunctioning. No stopper in the bathtub, and the dirty towels taken away by the personnel, but not replaced. It was technically luxurious, but the execution was lacking.
The worst part was the noise. The hotel is in the heart of a party area with cocktail bars and Irish pubs everywhere. We stayed in winter and even then, the noise kept us awake every night. Earplugs was the only option. Seeing videos of this area in summer: packed with people, led us to the conclusion that if we were already wearing earplugs and annoyed by the noise, how bad will it be in summer?
Other downside: There is an automatic perfume dispenser in the livingroom which couldn't be switched off and let out puffs of terrible room perfume out, every 10 minutes. The smell and the noise were both really annoying. Made us also wonder what smell was tried to cover up....
Conclusion: Fair enough hotel/apar**ent if you want space and the ability to cook by yourself and be close to bars and public transport. If you don't expect luxury: you will be satisfied. And bring earplugs!
