This is a rather large hotel with a very good location. However, it need some renovation soon and a more customer oriented management. If you just want a place to sleep, it is good and prices are reasonable. Breakfast is poor if you like a healthy selection with fresh fruits etc. There is a very limited selection consisting of water melons and prunes. No fresh tomatoes, pineapple etc. There is a large can of Americano coffee, but this was not always hot. A counter is available if you want a cappuchino, espresso or other types of coffee. When we tried to order americano there, the guy got rather angry and said something about «paying extra» in Italian. There was no que for the coffee so we did not understand his attitude. When explaining that the large can had no hot coffe, he accepted to make us two americano. And the same story repeated itself for 5 days. In the reception one of the managers recommended a restaurant in the mountains close to Lipari and said she could call them and make a reservation and organize transport, since bookings could only be made per phone. We thanked her, and said we would think about it. The next day we asked the reception if they could make a call for us, but then another employee told that they dont make this kind of calls for their guests. We managed ourselves and had a nice dinner. A hotel stay consists of many details and in Hotel Gatopardo the details are not olways in favour of the guests. The next time we will try another place for our stay.

I don't usually review the facilities I visit but in this case I would like to thank the Gattopardo Park for helping to make the holiday unforgettable! Fantastic location, and you can reach the center of Lipari in 5 minutes on foot. But the difference is made by the Staff, all capable and available, hospitality reigns supreme! Excellent services, we always felt pampered and excellent organization of some excursions ... And what about the restaurant? Dining on the terrace at sunset with dishes that are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat is super! Compliments to the chef! We can't wait to go back!

We stayed from 9 to 16 July 2022...a splendid 4-star hotel both in the common areas and in the room: large...always clean, even too clean because even if it said to only put away the dirty towels, they changed them the same every day ... the only flaw is the hairdryer of the old wall ones ... breakfast included quite varied and satisfying ... we had dinner once ... very good apart from my Cammarata which was overcooked ... the transfer service is not always guaranteed as they say but is only: 8-12 and 14-20 ... excellent location close on foot to both the long and short marinas and the main street ... kind and friendly staff

We were there for a week and we were not satisfied. The hotel lives from its reputation in the 70s / 80s, at least nothing has happened in our bathroom since then. The rooms are simple and dark with poor lighting. The pool is nice, but there are no umbrellas, not even on request. In the only shaded corner you get bitten by mosquitoes. Central Europeans can only stand it for a very short time in the blazing sun. The food is not very tasty, the service seemed overwhelmed. Menu choice was like choosing between plague or cholera. The billing of the drinks was a challenge for the staff every evening. We didn't eat at the hotel from the second evening. Overall we advise against it.

La struttura ha delle potenzialità enormi ed è già molto carina anche se meriterebbe una ristrutturata (cosa che in effetti è già in preventivo). Immersa nel verde, con i suoi alberi fioriti caratteristici, ha un particolare fascino. La piscina era ben attrezzata e mai affollata, grande al punto giusto. La camera a noi riservata aveva una grandezza superiore alla media, la pulizia buona, arredamento vintage ma con tutte le comodità. I materassi non all'altezza, scomodi, andrebbero sostituiti(almeno per quanto riguarda la nostra esperienza) Il personale, dalla reception agli inservienti sempre molto gentili e sorridenti, nonché disponibili ed attenti alle nostre esigenze (ci hanno anche fatto tenere la camere un paio d'ore oltre l'orario del Checkout). La colazione potrebbe essere migliorata per rispettare i canoni di un 4 stelle,. Ma nel complesso non lascia del tutto delusi tra dolce e salato. Il ristorante ottimo, camerieri gentili e cucina con pesce fresco... Il Maître, Santo, è di una professionalità eccelsa e che merita un encomio per come gestisce le situazioni anche in momenti di affollamento. Un'altra nota di merito va al giovane Alessandro al bar, ragazzo squisito educato professionale e con un attitudine fuori dal comune per un giovane di appena 19 anni, complimenti. La navetta da e per il porto puntuale ed efficiente, hanno reso il nostro soggiorno comodo ed in totale relax. Rapporto qualità prezzo direi molto buono. Consigliato!

15' a piedi da Marina Corta. Bella piscina, bella sala pasti, buona colazione, cena nella media. Bellissime le aree esterne con piante e fiori. Stanze molto semplici, pulite, nella zona bassa un po' buie ed umide. Silenzioso. Assurda la chiusura delle porte sdoppiatoecon chiavi vecchie ed enormi

Ottima location, tipica struttura di Lipari , immersa nel verde , bella piscina aperta fino a tarda sera , con bar e servizio piscina ,il ristorante buono con pochi piatti ma ben curati , classica colazione continentale , camere ben arredate ma per essere perfette c’è da migliorare qualcosa sul punto di vista del comfort … , rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo !!

Una gran bella struttura, molto caratteristica e originale, le stanze sono circondate da bellissime piante, e nel complesso c’è anche una grande piscina, le camere sono pulite e arredate con semplicità, le migliori sono quelle al piano alto, comodo anche il letto, la zona colazione è molto ampia e bella con grande varietà di dolci, salati e caffetteria espressa. La zona dove è situata è molto tranquilla e vicina alla via centrale di Lipari. Unica cosa che posso dire è che le varie scale per accedere alle stanze dovrebbero essere dotate di uno scivolo per portare le valige. In conclusione consiglio questo bellissimo albergo per un soggiorno a Lipari.
