The breakfast was simple and had everything you need, a variety of meats, pastries, cakes and breads. Lots of different teas and coffee. The location was perfect just out of the chaos of Lipari centre round the corner and a beautiful sea front and church a short walk away from the hotel through beautiful narrow Italian streets. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond and are always around to answer questions and help where they can. I had the single room which was perfect for a solo traveller and my garden looked out to Stromboli which was just magical in the mornings and evenings. The cleanliness of my room was exceptional and tidied everyday with new towels and bedding. They also did my laundry for free which was very appreciated. The hotel facilities are great including a hot tub on the terrace of the hotel overlooking the island and volcano Stromboli in the distance. The lovely kind I think his name was Juliano offers free shuttle transfer to and from the port in Lipari, he kindly picked me up in the afternoon when I arrived and on my departure took me to my new hotel in Lipari centre which the new hotel wanted to charge me 15 euros for picking up from the port despite it being a few streets away! Juliano from La Zagara hotel also let me jump in the car in the mornings to the port during his shuttle transfers when I was going to visit the other islands by Hydrofoil which saved me money and getting the bus! I could not recommend this place more, such a pleasant experience and absolutely will be coming back! Thank you all.

We stayed in this hotel during a holiday in Lipari; the hotel is located a little out of the way, although it has a good view. Fairly comfortable rooms of a good standard. Satisfactory breakfast. It does not have additional services, average prices

Pet friendly facility but not "friendly" at all. To bring your dog, in our case a 4-month-old puppy, we were asked for an extra 50 euros, and so far unfortunately not questionable as we have noticed that it is practice in several hotels. The thing that really astonished us was the attitude of the staff, who without too many problems on our second day invited us not to bring the dog to breakfast (outdoor breakfast area) as someone had complained about his presence, as well as highlighting the fact that the same person would have complained about a dog that would bark all night. Which is absurd in our case, because being a puppy he sleeps 20 hours a day and has never barked during the night. We experienced 5 days of pure stress due to the anxiety that the dog would make some noise while playing, all accompanied by expressions of "terror" from the staff. Having pointed out the inconvenience experienced on our last day, we were told that we had to be patient, as the lady who complained was a regular customer who was unwanted by the facility. I would recommend a course to learn how to manage customers, it seems clear to me that there are big problems. We and our friends will not return and will not recommend this establishment.

Simply perfect experience. Spacious, spotlessly clean room, terrace and wonderful view. The staff is always friendly and ready to give great advice. The hotel's location is ideal for family travelers: close to the sea and every type of service, connected to the center of Lipari by frequent buses and quiet in the evening. We'll be back.

Ottima posizione a pochi passi da una delle più belle spiagge di Lipari. Dal Solarium e dalle stanze incantevole vista sul mare delle Eolie. Stanze ben arredate e ampie, comodo bagno, pulizia eccellente . La colazione a buffet molto abbondante e varia, deliziose torte dolci e salate preparate dalla proprietaria. Il Sig. Giovanni, molto disponibile e gentile, è venuto a prenderci all’arrivo del traghetto per accompagnarci nel suo splendido hotel. La sig.na alla reception ci ha prenotato il battello per le altre isole e ci ha dato molte informazioni per il nostro soggiorno. Ci siamo trovati molto bene e speriamo di ritrovarci per vedere altre isole delle Eolie che non abbiamo visto

Hotel molto curato in posizione meravigliosa a poca distanza dal marre. Ottima colazione a buffet, jacuzzi incantevole e stanza ampia. Ottima anche la pulizia degli ambienti. Servizio navetta sempre a disposizione degli ospiti. Staff gentilissimo come il Sig. Giovanni ,Kevin e tutta la reception. Torneremo sicuramente in una prossima occasione!
