I recently had a delightful stay at the Hyatt Regency in Hainan. The hotel offered a pleasant atmosphere, and my room was particularly inviting, featuring a charming wooden floor that added a homely touch.
One of the standout aspects of my stay was the tranquility of the hotel. I enjoyed a peaceful environment, free from noise disturbances from neighboring rooms, which allowed me to fall asleep easily. I was so comfortable that I overslept and was only awoken by the doorbell when my friend arrived!
The bed was incredibly comfortable.
Additionally, the hotel boasts an impressive buffet breakfast, which was the highlight of my morning. Overall, the Hyatt Regency is a fantastic getaway from the city, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The hotel is well suited for families with young children as it is just adjacent to an amusement park / aquarium. The rooms are alright. Although the hotel is not that old, it is not too well maintained and the pool tiles are falling off. I would definitely recommend staying 2-3 days for the amusement park as there is so much to do but no queues. Skip the pool and take the hotel as a place to sleep. Go for the rooms with the fireworks view.

I love it! Will come back for sure! The staf are very helpful and kind, they are so eager to help. My room has the perfect view I couldnt ask for more and everything worked well.

I would definitely come back and there were a lot of upsides (closeness to Hainan Ocean Paradise, great kids amenities, the gym was decent for weightlifting, not just cardio, tasty food, etc), but I would be more careful about what I ate at the buffet because I had food poisoning on the second day and it kind of ruined the trip for me. The F&B manager did try to figure out the cause and had the kitchen make me porridge since I couldn’t enjoy the buffet the second night, which I appreciated. Still, a mostly great hotel and hopefully next time I’ll be luckier.

The duty manager Shirley Yang Xuemin, she provide the exemplifies exceptional service etiquette demeanor with her warm and front office team, they always beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Her dedication to providing a positive experience sets a high standard for all in her role.
