Guilin Cheryou Restaurant (Overseas Chinese Farm shop)

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the owners welcomed us with genuine kindness and made us feel right at home. They were always available to give us helpful advice, answer our questions, and ensure we had everything we needed.

The hotel is about 40 minutes drive from the railway station. We picked it because it's conveniently located next to Mopanshan Dock, from which the ships on the Li River launch. The rooms are clean, provided with warm blankets and sanitary necessities. The hotel owner was extremely helpful. I reached him in WeChat to ensure the booking for the Li River Cruise trip, and he arranged everything according to our wishes. Furthermore he provided a transfer from the railway station not only to his own hotel, but to a different one we visited the previous night. It was on the other side of the city and a very long drive, nonetheless the price was quite affordable. The driver was a relative of the owner, drove very safely, and took us on sightseeing stops along the way with no additional fee. We were a group of 8 people with children who behaved very loudly, yet he was patient with us. I thoroughly recommend this hotel if you ever visit Guilin, the owner will make sure to take good care of you.
