Had funeral in Hughes springs, so stayed at the Royal Inn in Linden. 60 dollar motel, so I did not expect much. Arrived and the staff were friendly, rooms were clean and did not have the old motel or smoke smell in it. Bed was comfy, but could use a little heavier blanket. TV was direct tv so plenty to watch. Some reviews complained about location, coffee maker ect, but you are not getting Dom for a MD 2020 pricing.

I booked through Hopper but my reservation could not be found upon arriving, so I had to pay for another room that night. Upon contacting hopper for a refund, the management claims I never stayed there and when I call the hotel no one will pick up. Sooo I'm a little disappointed to say the least.

Great little family motel. Sparkling clean. Newly renovated bathroom with beautiful shower with hot water and great water pressure. Comfortable king bed. Larger than usual refrigerator with big separate freezer. Microwave. Friendly staff. Awesome donut place in parking lot. VERY VERY reasonable rates.
