Very poor service the just simple room with noisy , as floor make noise in room and also you can hear others. uncomfortable bed old mattress. Internet is Rubish never could connect even they have different no one work. Breakfast service does not excite a lady is very rude when you ask for something is missing, cereal coffees ham cheese bread but no pastries ? . Expensive please for nothing good ! Avoid if you can

A little old, but everything was OK and the staff was super nice and friendly. Breakfast was OK, beds were OK, carpeting was a no-go in the 21st century. Location was very good and the price/performance ratio was OK!

The Bodenseehotel Lindau was our first overnight stay on a planned bike tour around Lake Constance. Unfortunately my husband didn't read the reviews here because then we wouldn't have booked it in the first place. It was a good 34 degrees outside and the room was on the upper floor and at least that was the case inside. The room was right on a busy road and directly opposite the train station. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning and no fan either, we didn't sleep a wink but we had to pay 183.00 euros for it. In the bathroom there were toothpaste stains from the previous guest on the sink. The bathroom is actually an ancient cabin like the ones you see on river cruises. The light switch is also sticky with dirt. At breakfast we were greeted by a large board that said "Do not take anything with you, nothing in Tupperware containers, nothing in napkins, nothing in bags, nothing at all, etc. It made you feel really nice and welcome. The breakfast itself was OK but we wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
