My husband and I were on a bike tour along Lake Konstanz and a longer travel through Bavaria. This was one of the pre-arranged hotels by bike tour company. Out of about 10 hotels on our 3-week trip, this is the least memorable. I remember the town which is charming and attractive. The hotel is tucked in a corner near the water tower and other interesting sites nearby. I would say this was probably a very average hotel in every way, nothing about it stands out to me. Probably decent value for the money.

ALMOST POISONED OUR DAUGHTER! Terrible cleaning had left unknown pills laying on the floor which our 1year old daughter found and could have easily swallowed. *********** writes that the restaurant is open 7days a week 07-21.30 - which is lie as it’s closed 2 days a week, so we where sent out in the streets at night with two small children in the rain and with my mother who has parkinsons disease. No help from the reception in fact the man seemed to get very angry, that I voiced my concerns over the pill find and misinformation. The rooms are dated, no help with parking, and to top it off birds flew in and out of the breakfast restaurant.

We have stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years. This hotel ranks with the best except for one service-their wifi is basically non-existent. This is inexcusable for a four star hotel in this day and age. Have you not heard of a wifi signal extender? For over €250 per night I think you can afford it. Everything else was perfect from the friendly and accommodating staff to the room air conditioning. I can recommend this hotel with hesitancy. Just don’t bring your electronics and expect them to operate on the hotel’s wifi.

Wonderful to be back again after a gap of 2 ½ years. Rooms, food and service all excellent as usual. The new breakfast room on the first floor is superb and gives a wonderful view over the harbour when having breakfast there. So nice to see the regular staff again. See you again next year!

I was passing through and wanted to stay overnight in Lindau. Friends of mine recommended this modern hotel. It also has a lockable bicycle garage. My room was in an annex building. So it was very quiet there. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked and met all my wishes.

The hotel is located a little away from the hustle and bustle on the edge of the promenade. We had a room on the 4th floor with a view of the backyard. The bedroom and bathroom were in good condition and very clean, but also a bit narrow and unfortunately very warm at night. The breakfast was good and could also be taken outside on the terrace with a view of Lake Constance. The dinner was also delicious and the service was very friendly.

Wunderschönes Hotel direkt am Bahnhof, am Bootsanleger und der Uferpromenade. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit einschließlich des Frühstücksservice. Tagsüber natürlich etwas laut, weil sehr viele Menschen auf der Uferpromenade unterwegs sind, aber nachts ist es super leise. Zimmer tipp topp, nicht die geringste Beanstandung. Frühstück sah ok aus, kann ich aber nicht wirklich beurteilen, denn ich habe nur das Birchermüsli mit frischen Früchten gegessen und das ist sensationell!! Für den Spa-Bereich war leider keine Zeit. Der Pool sah einladend aus, aber nichts für den Monat April :-) Ein weiterer Besuch in diesem wunderbaren Hotel ist definitiv geplant, einschließlich Pool!

Es wurde mir eine kostenfreie Stornierung ermöglicht, weil Anfang Dezember die Züge aufgrund der Schneemassen nicht von und nach Lindau fuhren, obwohl die Stornierungsfrist bereits abgelaufen war. Das finde ich sehr großzügig - und es motiviert mich, wenn ich wieder Richtung Bodensee fahren sollte, auf jeden Fall hier zu buchen! Danke!
