We loved our stay at the Inn at Ocean’s Edge! It was exactly what we were looking for- quaint, tranquil, beautiful pool, and stunning views. The breakfast and service was fabulous. Everyone at the front desk was more than helpful and welcoming. The room itself was spacious and clean. We explored Rockland, Rockport, and Camden- all a short drive away!

Absolutely everything is wonderful. The view is spectacular. The accommodations with balconies are spacious, clean, and beds are comfortable. The people are welcoming, helpful, and nice. Breakfast is the best...what a treat! The hot tub and pool are amazing. Guests were all friendly. I travelled solo and felt safe and comfortable. Very close to Camden. I will be back ...

If you are trying to 'get away from it all', this is the place for you! Situated right on the Penobscot Bay, the Inn is located far enough off of the highway that there is no road noise, adding to the serene surroundings. The rooms are plush with every amenity you could hope for. Breakfast is superbly prepared offering fresh and local enticements. The infinitely pool is delightful, giving one the feel that you are about to float off into the bay. And don't miss getting a massage! Tracy was fabulous! If I could pick only one spot to escape to each summer, this would be it! So far away from DC in every way!

Stayed for 4 nights.The location is amazing.The view from the infinity pool out into the bay was breathtaking. Rooms nicely appointed. Breakfast offered many choices and delicious specials.Every member of the staff was kind ,professional and caring. It is a bit of a hike to get to main building from the back rooms but the view is spectacular from the remote building. Erika , Sea Dawg and especially the Manager Mark made a positive , want to return impression. There was a slight issue with housekeeping which Mark more than rectified. Thank you all who made our stay very special!!

What a gem of a place! We stayed in the hilltop building. The room was spacious and inviting. The large size was perfect for a three night stay. The view was spectacular from the balcony. The grounds are perfectly manicured and there is an abundant amount of seating to relax and take in the view. Breakfast was delicious with specials each day to complement the already wonderful menu offerings.

The setting is beautiful however we were disappointed in the value. The cost per night did not equate to the average experience and lack of attention to detail. The pool heater had been turned off even though it was still warm during the day- warm enough to be in the pool. Housekeeping was optional, and not done very well. Bathroom accoutrements such as shower cap, qtips, etc were not there, also no night light in the bathroom which was a safety hazard. No extra blankets in the room. On a positive note, the breakfasts were great and the desk and restaurant staff were nice.

Stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Really nice hotel with a very relaxed homey feel. The breakfast was fabulous. Coffee is self serve and then you sit at one of the tables overlooking the water and order off of a menu. The chef will make you anything your heart desires and you can have as much as you want. The food was very good. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Will definitely come back here next year when we can go in the pool.
