Hyatt Place Lincoln Downtown Haymarket
4.5/598 Reviews
I had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Place Lincoln/Downtown-Haymarket during a recent business trip, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional service I received, especially from the overnight front desk agent. Despite the hotel being completely full, they went above and beyond to ensure I was accommodated with a wonderful room that perfectly met my needs. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I felt genuinely welcomed after a long day of travel. The front desk agent was not only professional and courteous but also went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Their attention to detail and customer-focused attitude truly set this experience apart. The room was spotless, spacious, and quiet—exactly what I needed to relax and recharge before another day of meetings. This level of care and service, especially during a fully booked night, made my stay memorable and hassle-free. I highly recommend the Hyatt Place Lincoln/Downtown-Haymarket for anyone visiting the area, whether for business or leisure.

So, if you are traveling down I-80 and just need a place to rest your eyes, this might be okay. The area of the hotel is safe and the bed and linens were clean. After that, well, we’re sorta surprised that Americinn would keep it in the franchise. The housekeepers do a great job, but we don’t think they have any maintenance people with opposable thumbs. Missing smoke detectors, irons, doors on the cabinets and drawer in the bathroom. Dents in every lamp, chips in every wall and we wouldn’t even bathe our dog in the in-room hot tub. Not enough outlets to plug in two cell phones. Trash dumpster is the first thing you see and the parking lot has abandoned cars with flats and windows open. A giant lady standing two inches from the outside door enjoying a heater. I think you’re getting the idea. It was only $80 for a Sunday night and that beats driving into the ditch or sleeping in a wayside rest. Although we would not stay here again, we recommend it to anybody tight on cash that just needs a place to sleep and shower. It’s safe and cheap.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Lincoln

We were in town for a college visit. The hotel is located within steps of the the University so the location was perfect. We are a family of five , so the suite room fit us perfectly. The lobby is easy to understand and get around in. You can valet park for a fee or there is self parking up the street for a lot less (we weren't even charged for one day of the parking, have no idea why!). The hotel has the usual open area in the middle and although the noise didn't bother is, while we were in the room, I can see where others would be bothered. As I said, the room was a perfect fit. the bathroom was a bit dated, but it did its job. Buffet breakfast was perfect in the morning for everyone and the light snacks served a dinner time were nice as well. There is a pool and gym but we didn't have time for either on this trip. We will definitely be back. One other note, they like a lot of places have lack of staff issues, which was very apparent at the restaurant. I'm sure as time passes this will work itself out.
Courtyard Lincoln Downtown/Haymarket

The location is good, the east side is the expressway, the traffic lights and bridges enter the Lincoln campus and the stadium; the west side is the casual bar-like old district, which seems to be the most lively place in Lincoln. The hotel's free WIFI clicks are connected, unlike some hotels (such as the Ambassador Hotel that lived for a while), it is annoying to join the membership and log in again every day. There are quite a few Chinese restaurants in a kilometer. At least I have been to 4 or 5 restaurants. Of course, Indian and Mexican restaurants are also good. The rooms are relatively large, and the sanitation, facilities and services are all at the Marriott level. Recommended for latecomers
