The first thing I saw when I entered the lobby was a cart full of crumpled pool towels behind the reception desk - instead of the receptionist. And several people were already there waiting in line. At last the guy showed up and first and foremost started complaining about how busy he is at this highly understaffed property, and he continued complaining all along, like it was OUR fault or problem. He seemd to barely control his irritation with the customers and their various concerns, also complaining about previous customers. I've never seen anything like this in hospitality. This guy also closed the pool door two hours prior and went somewhere. He was, again, irritated when customers started coming to the pool and calling him out to open the door. Though the hotel claims itself to be recently renovated, the walls are still paper, and the rooms are remodeled only partially (old rotten lamps are still there etc.). I liked the size of my room and the modern lobby design though. The cook-to-order part of breakfast was scarce - two small link sausages and some scrambled eggs. But the kitchen lady was very friendly. Would I stay again? Not sure. P.S. Fun fact: they walled up the old spa knob which was right next to the spa and installed a new one all the way across the pool area, so people couldn't find it ("NE corner of the pool") :)
