The room was ok. It had what looked like lvp flooring instead of carpet which is a nice touch and makes it easier to keep clean. The view was great. We had a door that opened to the back walk path. Our interactions with the staff were great and very nice. They were quick to get us a shower curtain when we noticed it was not there. The microwave and refrigerator were nice and clean, the room was also cleaned nicely. The gaming area is not attached to the hotel, but they do have shuttles that will take you to and from your room to anywhere on the property which is nice. We ate in the restaurant that is inside the casnio and thought the food was good. The part that made me not give more stars is we were able to hear the units next to us like they were in the same room, the chairs that were in our room are nothing like the pictures show on the site, they were ones that you would find in a group gathering at a convention center and were not comfortable to sit in. The bed was terrible, we could sleep well in it, and we woke up with back and neck pains. No matter what floor you were on you had to take stairs that were steep and hard to walk on. So, if you have a tough time with stairs because of injuries or disabilities it is hard to get to the room. The front desk did move us to a first-floor room to try to help with the stair issue, but my wife still had a tough time with them and after the first night I also had a tough time due to back pain from the bed.

Love the ocean view rooms. Come for 3 nights, got 1st floor room that has a back door that opens to the ocean. Beds are amazing, view us beautiful, rooms good size and clean. Bathtubs are small and to me was ok shower pressure. Customer servuce at front desk were very friendly, check in was easy. They do hold a incidental fee credit cards are 100.00 or if you use a bank card there is a 200.00 hold, ****** within walking distance but you can call the shuttle and the will pick you up, the shuttle runs from 7am to 4am that's the same as ****** hours. Lots of food options on property. I would definitely recommend staying here, the view and the noice of the ocean is worth every penny. I will be coming back again

It was busy, and seemed unorganized. They have cut back and all but eliminated floor servers. They may have cut back on restroom cleaning/service too. Our group had a nice time, but the entire experience is slipping, not in a good way, we did not eat here.

Horrible experience! We had a hotel reservation and concert tickets and an ice storm was predicted a week before. There was no communication from them about canceling the show and we went to not lose both our room charge and the concert tickets. Upon checking in they then tell us the concert was canceled. They gave no option to cancel the room free of charge. Then they end up closing the entire ****** despite other surrounding businesses staying open. The shuttle would not drop people at their rooms, there were no food options after they closed not even vending machines. Myself and dozens of others fell in the parking lot. The rooms had little to no heat and when we called to see if they could help make things right, we were told there is nothing they could do. We ended up getting an email about the concert being canceled one hour after it was supposed to start. If they had communicated at all I could have canceled my room ahead of time and avoided the nigh**are of this stay, but they didn't. I used to like this place but they do not seem to care about their customers. Any form of communication would have gone a long way for everyone that weekend.

We travel with our Yellow Lab, so stayed in the "old" part of the hotel (old Shilo Inn) and it met our expectations and needs. The view of the beach was outstanding. Every room has a view. Our 2nd floor room was easy to get into with just 4 stairs for our old dog to negotiate. The room was clean and well tended although the bathtub could use a little attention to remove a bit of mold in the grout line and water damage behind the door. The room was very clean and up to date. Keurig machine provided in room, so bring your own Kcups if you're picky. I didn't like the coffee provided but there is a Starbucks just down the street. Fully Non-Smoking ****** (love then non-smoking!) and restaurants are just a short walk across the parking lot. All of the staff here were outstanding, friendly and helpful at all times.
