Best Western Plus Bentley Hotel Spa

We choose this hotel as it was close to where our friends live. We booked 3 double rooms and even though we weren’t in them for long, they were lovely and clean. Staff weee super nice and friendly The location wasn’t too bad as we could travel to where we wanted to go. The windmill was a great place to eat and for a good price too.

Looks Tired and unwelcoming The look of the hotel as you pull up is not great it looks very run down. You have photos of the swimming pool still on show which is closed and you say the gym is still open but it wasnt because of staff shortages. Room 104 the bathroom door or rotten on the inside of bathroom. In the bar £6 for a pint of cider in an out of town hotel was expensive. Room was fine comfortable clean and warm

Okay... would not stay again Booked this hotel for the pool (sports recovery after sons rugby) only to hear after booking that it was permanently closed :( the hotel offered me a free cancellation when i complained which was not very helpful at the short notice we had to find somewhere. Hotel was fairly clean - some grime around the base of the bath and a drippy stain on the main room wall, but bedding and towels were very clean. Randomly, the element in the kettle was amazingly clean. Room was very dated, small high up window offering no view at all. Wall panel controlling temperature did not display anything when pressed (although the vent did open on the actual unit) and the cover fell off numerous times. Shower was either boil-a-lobster hot, or artic cold with not much in-between causing my 12 year old to proclaim its the worst shower hes ever used and extracor fan did not work. We debated eating dinner in the hotel restaurant but it was completely empty at 7.30pm which is never a good sign so went elsewhere. Breakfast was okay, but nothing too special. The communication was good by auto-bot i am guessing, and staff were friendly enough.

Upgrade required, in areas but food excellent Nice hotel, room ok apart from pillows too soft for me personally. Room a little dated and heat unit very loud and dripping hot tap. Breakfast was nice but had to wait 10 mins for fried egg, not great on a buffet line. A hasten too add it was busy try avoid 9 am rush in a Sunday morning We had evening meal which was excellent had the chicken in cream sauce highly recommend

Great! Stayed for one-night to do the parkrun at Yarborough. Perfect - clean, comfortable, quiet and cheap. I had an excellent night’s sleep!
