Hotel San Pietro

After reading some not very good reviews of this hotel, I didn’t go with high hopes but clearly the people who left bad reviews were just overly picky! And you get what you pay for at the end of the day - if you want 5* luxury then book that! But for anyone looking for a genuine review then this ticked a lot of boxes Beautiful view, I paid a little extra for the panoramic view which did mean we were on the top floor but there is a lift, the hotel is on the side of a mountain so there will be a lot of steps and walking so if your mobility is not good then it’s probably not the best place for you. I’d suggest looking for a hotel down by the lake. Beautiful grounds, the orange & lemon trees and flowers make the surroundings of the hotel lovely. We opted for B&B and the breakfast was okay not the best glad we did as there isn’t much within walking distance. We hired a car for our stay and I’m glad we did as we got to see a lot more of Lake Garda than if we had just got an airport transfer. Overall the hotel was clean and tidy and the views really were the show stopper for this trip. My only criticism for the hotel would be the balcony railings, on the first night it was raining which made the slightly slopped balcony tiles wet and slippy, I walked out on to the balcony and slipped over and cut my foot quite deeply on the sharp bottom of the railings and after that I was paranoid about letting my 4 year old son too close, I don’t think he could have fell through but could of got a nasty injury and a baby / toddler probably could have fell through so poor design for a family advertised hotel.

Had the best few days here, cannot recommend Hotel Atilius highly enough.. The staff were absolutely fantastic , they are all so friendly and accommodating, particularly Roberta and Giovanni . The rooms were lovely, very modern and absolutely spotless. The view was breathtaking, overlooking lake Garda .The outside hot tub was an added bonus but the overall outstanding best for us was the food..Compliments to the chefs ..Food was so good we ate there both nights . Breakfast also amazing..Hated leaving here! Definitely want to come back.! Only tiny negative was it is not walkable the whole way into Limone as the footpath ends at the campsite, i think might be maybe 500 metres from hotel approximately however the hotel provides a shuttle service to and from Limone .

The location is great. Each apartment has the view of the lake. The service just not very good. Our stove didn't work at first. Had to wait an hour for the caretaker. The equipment should also be better. The saucepan didn't have a lid, the caretaker was s

This hotel is well situated in Limone with only a 5-10 minute walk into the main town. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was very modern and clean (the cleaners are also lovely!) and the view was stunning, overlooking the lake and mountains. The balcony area, with deckchairs and sun loungers, surrounded by flowers and lemon trees was used frequently by us - it is a very relaxing space. The breakfast was nice however I was not able to eat much due to my nut allergy and the risk of cross contamination being too high (with loose nuts in bowls, in cakes / pastries etc). However my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the meats, cheeses and fruits available.

Hotel a little date , but don 't let yourself be cheated by the appearance , the rooms are just renovated , wooden floor , no horrible moquettes , with air conditioner , refrigerator , TV and new bathroom , We then had the balcony with lake view ( panoramic area ) ,the cleaning is done every day , buffet breakfast in the standard , very available and friendly staff , if I have to find a negative look , The door of the room is certainly to be replaced, very date with some difficulty to close it (although with the old key ), in conclusion I recommend this 2-star hotel, but for me it deserves 3-stars, to those who do not want to spend an excessive amount.
Hotel Leonardo Da Vinci

There were some aspect of our stay that we liked such as hotel layout (even though lots of steps), it was clean & the staff were super helpful. The cleaners did a great job & the reception staff were really friendly. However, the room was very dated & could do with maintenance. We were also kept awake several nights by various other rooms as the walls were so thin that we could hear people talking, babies crying or people were playing music outside their rooms. The food wasn't great especially at lunch time. We ended up going into town the last 3 days to eat as even the kids had enough. We have stayed all inclusive at loads of hotels and know not to expect much variety. We enjoy Italian food & were surprised at the lack of variety & they didn't even have pizza once! The snacks were biscuits & ice cream and crisps in the evening. When we arrived mid afternoon on our first day we had hoped to at least be able to get some snacks but had to make do with biscuits until dinner. The shuttle bus into town was handy but a couple of times we weren't able to get on it as it was full so had to walk. The atmosphere was pretty chilled & we did enjoy sitting outside by the pool. The view over lake Garda was also lovely. Be aware the cocktails aren't included in the all inclusive package. I'm not a big wine drinker so I wish I had known this before we booked.
