Delayed an hour but when got there was told there were no rooms available from 2 girls who also were stranded at this hell hole. The family we arrived with had 2 young children and I was 34 weeks pregnant at the time, no staff to be seen until morning after I spend 10 hours (all night as arrived at midnight) on the phone to our provider and hotel ignored the calls and emails from them. Eventually reception and bar ladies turned up (lovely girls). Not enough food for everyone mainly watermelon blood on beds, dirty, definitely not 4 stars. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

We had the worst experience here, we arrived at 23:00 at night to be greeted with nothing and no one. We finally hunted a boy down who didn’t speak no English so we had to use google translate And then he managed to get a man to come down and check us in finally after 90 minutes of panicking, the man then over charged us for the taxes! But I was too scared to ask any questions as it was just me and my daughter. When we got into our room it was basic but ok, the towels were dirty so we couldn’t shower till getting them replaced the next day, then the next day we explored the hotel which had a few pretty places. But very unclean and smelly. The food ……………….. there was never enough food for everyone and a few people were filling their plates and when we got there nothing was left apart from water melon 🤢 we ate out most nights. The drink ………… we went all inclusive and there was only two alcohol options think it was brandy and a Greek drink everything else was chargeable (so not a proper all inclusive) Swimming pool literally turned all my costumes green 😩 My only plus was location

I decided to take my mum on holiday as she hasn't been overseas for 15 years. Whilst browsing I noticed the all inclusive hotel at Casa Orama. It said 4 star and had 4 out of 5 on trip advisor. I know what we paid for 4 star is cheap, however, I thought we had got a good deal. I did read the reviews before booking and most saying lovely hotel, food, location, etc. I decided to book it as a treat for me and my mum. Nearer to travelling I looked at trip advisor again and saw bad reviews. I was looking at changing hotel but people said it might be just really fussy people. They were wrong. The advantages were: there was a room when we arrived, I'd heard and seen that there wasn't enough rooms for everyone that booked. The location was great. The beds were comfy and the air con was good. The female staff were amazing. The men were so grumpy and inhospitable. Also the bar man had a huge love bite and rarely smiled. The bathroom was riddled with mold and disgusting. The rest are disadvantages. Everything that people have wrote is true. Breakfast was 8am-10am. One day we got there at 8.45am and all I could get was 2 slices of cheese and a piece of cake. The coffee machine was broke and also the watery juices. The selection of alcoholic drinks were Raki or brandy, beer and wine that tastes really weird and had raki in it. I really don't like raki. I ordered the Brandy sunrise and it had very watered down brandy in it. Lunch was ok, however dinner was just warm ups from lunch. We ate out 5 nights out of 7. To cut a long story short Casa Orama needs to either drop a star or two or listen to the reviews and sort it out. Also, because the hotel is classed as 4 star you have to pay more tax.

We stayed at Casa Orama for 7 nights 8 days while in Hersonissos, there’s a lot that both good and bad about the hotel. I’ll attach a list of pros and cons below that hopefully some of you find useful. Pros: -Amazing location -Friendly and helpful reception staff -Cheap hotel -Comfy beds -Decently cooked food -Plenty of sunbeds for all of the guests -Kept clean Cons: -Not double beds (as we paid extra for), both single beds, most good hotels would offer a partial refund as they don’t actually have any double beds throughout the hotel, but the man that we spoke to on reception simply shrugged his shoulders as we stated that we paid a lot more for a double bed instead of the standard twin -Unfriendly manager; did not want to answer our questions and told us that he wouldn’t give us a number for a taxi even when we said that we would call ourselves -Outdated building; cracked walls in the bathrooms, stained walls, still has old branding on the hotel -Food although edible is not the best and has VERY LIMITED options, photos showed a good variety of food but there is a maximum of 4 hot foods each day (fish, potatoes, pasta and peppers), along with watermelon (and occasionally galia melon) for dessert at every meal time -Drinks machine was always ran out, we only had working fizzy drinks on the first day; the only other drinks they had was tap water, orange squash or beer -Pool bar was never open on time (10am), it always opened at least an hour after, if not it was often later than 11am and reception in the morning never had anyone in sight until around 11.30am -Pillows; we were only given one flimsy flat pillow each whilst we were staying here for the first night, we asked the next morning and the man on reception stated that they didn’t have any and couldn’t help. We then asked the lady who was on in the evening (she was incredibly helpful and definitely deserves a pay rise), who said no problem at all and even brought 2 more pillows up to the room for us -The drinks at this ‘all-inclusive’ hotel are far and from all-inclusive, there was very little option as stated above regarding the drinks machine in the restaurant. At the pool bar once it opened, there was again beer available, along with a small variety of other drinks like Pepsi, pineapple juice, peach juice, tap water, soda water, and 2 cocktails with Raki; which all was only free until 10pm then you had to pay for all drinks. There was a small range of other cocktails, all which were priced at €7 per small cocktail, if you went to a proper cocktail bar with large sizing and generous pours like Bio Bio less than a 2 minute walk out of the hotel they were priced at €5 per large cocktail. -Pool towels and Amenities that are all listed on their website for free that all guests have.. These are non existent, we arrived with shampoo and conditioner just in case but we still didn’t expect to have nothing but soap there, we also went out and bought our own pool towels as there were none there eve

Worst hotel ever stayed in!! This year when booking we paid extra and looked for 4 stars, We were completely disappointed with this hotel. Monday 26th Aug - Mon 2nd Sept Arrived after 1 am, no one in reception a note in English to call a number, called number, a man answered - couldn’t speak English. He then came to reception and used his phone to translate - he couldn’t give us keys to this hotel but can take us to another one near by. We had no choice, all very tired. He drove us to - Chersonisou, wasn’t even sure it was a hotel. Gave us free water and 1 key. It was a family room, not very clean, no beds were made up, no towels supplied and he left. Was told he pick us up by 8:30 to take us back to our hotel, didn’t turn up till 09:10 got to our original hotel and our rooms still not ready. Eventually got in our rooms 10:30. Very basic room, lots of stains, cracks not pleasant decoration, not very clean. 1 room the shower hanging off the wall. The other room Air con was leaking. We paid extra for balcony/ Terrace. We were given the smallest Balcony 2 people could not sit on it! The reception is hardly manned, so it was hard for us to express our complaints. Buffet food, very basic, very limited, alway cold. We tried a few day and couldn’t eat there no more. The ladies that worked in hotel were pleasant. The men / owners not friendly at all. I would not recommend my worst enemy to go here. Avoid at all times!!!

My family and 2 others, in total of 12 people with small kids reserved a 7 night stay at the hotel through an agency. We had multiple flight delays that ended up being 16h long, so our agency called to announce that all of us would be coming late and to prepare a dinner. We ended up arriving next day at 8 a.m., all tired, with a big surprise. A guy sitting at the reception (who ended up being the barman and all round helper) said they have no free rooms available for any of us, a French couple and another Romanian couple. So, 16 people arrive with reservations but no free rooms, tired and kids to look after. After we got a bit angry, a manager's relative came and tried to calm us down, talked to the manager by phone to promise that all is going to sort itself out, but it was just a stall tactic. The manager came eventually, apologized, and proposed he could find another hotel for a day, then move us to another hotel, and maybe after 2-3 days he's going to find rooms for us all. We didn't accept because we booked and payed for a vacation, not a city break, and asked to find us another hotel, same conditions, for the entire vacation. He then closed himself in the office and didn't give a damn about us like we were just dirt. He even ordered himself and for his staff coffees and breakfast from outside the hotel, and that seemed strange because it's supposed be an all-inclusive hotel. We then saw that the food ran out 1h after being served, so you either got up early or you went hungry. The place was very dirty, nobody cleared the tables for a long time, even the bathroom had no toilet paper. We then spoke with some of the guests there while we waited and found out that overbooking is a daily problem for these crooks. Just 3 or 4 days before we arrived, there was a group of 6 families that arrived and there were no rooms available. Our agency managed to find us a gorgeous alternative (after 5 hours! of delays by the manager), for all our group, and after our vacation's end we spoke with that Ro. couple who returned to the hotel after 2 days, confirming what I wrote before. Very bad service, dirty rooms, low quality food that ran out if you didn't hurry... Then we found out they changed the name of the place last year because of the bad reviews. DON'T GO THERE if you value your time and money.

Well… We went with my parents and got a small room with no space (there was literally no room to move properly nor to unpack the suitcases, it was impossible to get to the wardrobe because of the bed standing next to it in a few centimetres). The bathroom door was transparent with a mirror on the opposite wall (so the person in the room could watch what’s happening in the bathroom). No privacy at all (and it’s a room for a 3 adults!) The toilet was rusty, also no soap. The atmosphere of the dining room was terrible. Dirty plates, also usually no forks have been left. People were wild, because they knew that they won’t get any food if they come later. The only drinks we got - sparkling water and orange drink. The bar was also a mess. They couldn’t even print a normal menu of the drinks. It was difficult to find to eat something decent. The staff is doubtful. A few bar-tenders (girls) were nice, but the guys working in the dining room had no uniform, wore dirty clothes and looked absolutely inappropriate. Some of them barely knew English language, didn’t pay any attention to clients, wouldn’t take dirty plates from the table. The beach had no shower nor changing rooms. Also we couldn’t take umbrellas nor sunbeds, they all belonged to another hotel. When we complained about the room, we were told that the problem could be solved the next day and that they would inform us. But the next day we got no news. They all went silent and even the lady on the reception wouldn’t greet us. We were completely ignored. Our vacation was ruined, my parents were extremely upset, because they were saving money and waiting for this resort. Thanks God and our travel agency, we were moved to another hotel after a few days. It was hell. It’s still confusing. How would they get 4 stars? How would they get some nice reviews? It’s crazy that some people still like this place. It’s definitely not a 4 star hotel. Bad service, FAKE photos on the website. They must be sued!
