Elan Hotel

We stayed one night at the Elan hotel on our way back from a winter holiday. We arrived late in the afternoon and left early the next morning. The hotel has one obvious thing going for it; location! It’s located on the highway 3, close to a fast charger (FastNed) and a couple of (fastfood) restaurants. The hotel is pretty dated; it felt like walking back into the seventies! It is clean but very basic. We had a family room which in our case was basically two rooms with beds, one bathroom with toilet and bath. No fridge or anything. First thing that happens when we opened the bathroom door was that the door handle dropped of. Same with the door between both bedrooms. Our children took a bath; some parts of the shower came off. It worked but you notice that the maintenance is minimal but luckily it is clean. There is not much to do in the surrounding area, but it’s oké if you are just looking for a very basic room to get a quick shuteye while traveling. One tip; ask for a room away from the elevators. They are noisy! Due to the convenience of the location I am giving it this rating, the hotel itself should get maximum two stars because it is clean.

Very clean, warm welcome big rooms with everything you need in this price range. The breakfast offered everything you need. Recommended for a sleepover on your trip to you holidays. It is located right next to the highway but we did not have noise from it.
