This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. All my friends booked different hostels all over Miraflores but we've made this the meeting point, as it was walking distance to pretty much anything and everything. The vibes were awesome. The common areas were spacious and very clean. I did a walking tour to Barranco with one of their guides, I believe it was with Juan and that was very cool. The staff in the bar/breakfast area could be a little better. Service was very delayed and they naver had change when you wanted to tip them. I had the private room with a private bathroom and it was super clean and cozy! I was so happy it was on the 6th floor, gave me a little bit of privacy. Overall great experience and highly recommend Selina!

The hotel itself is not 7 stars, but it is the people who work there who makes it such a nice place. Didn’t have a bad experience here, my wife and I happened to be in Peru for a funeral and I had a health issue due to the emotional stress. Santiago from the reception was prompt to call the ambulance and they could fix the situation. Also when friends and family came to visit, I befriended waiter Carlos Abanto, very good guy, he deserves all the compliments, super professional. Because of people like them I plan to come back. Also Zarai Chileno (waitress) was nice and Jose the guy who used to clean my room. With this staff and location I assure you a lot of returning business and many good years to come. This is my second use of Hotel Diamond. In my first review I regarded it as ”exceptional,” and there is no change in that evaluation! Another great stay. Since my 2021 visit, they have opened up a breakfast buffet on the fourth floor (complimentary). It's excellent. And the view . . . the only place I know of where you can get a glimpse of two grand colonial courtyards (of convents/monasteries), along with a wonderful cluster of colonial church domes. Just a great hotel--friendly staff, efficient and well-cared for, updated rooms, superb location. A winner of winners!

Un hotel bonito y a veinte minutos caminando de Miraflores, la habitación tiene buena iluminación sin embargo la ventana daba a la ventana de otras habitaciones lo cual hacía un poco incómodo. La atención del hotel es un 20 de 10, el desayuno buffet es rico pero no tienen ninguna leche vegetal, la barra de postres es deliciosa.

This property was nice. It was very clean. It really only has the basics in the room. No fridge or microwave, 2 bath towels and a bath mat, minimal shampoo/soap. The breakfast was actually pretty good. However, there was no ”early bird” breakfast. Anything earlier than 6am was a box breakfast which was horrible. We experienced it twice. Fruit and a cheap ham and cheese sandwich on white bread. I think there was 1 piece of ham and 1 piece of cheese. For a nice hotel, they could have done much better than that!!

The housekeeping mad mostly a very good job, the cleaning in my room was good. Shower was also quite good. They had also a massage chair in the lobby, which I really enjoyed. But sometimes they put to much cleanser (chemicals)on that device, so that my shirt and my neck smelled after using, very strong like chemicals. That was bad. Breakfast was tasty.
